Q-Tip & Consequence Squash Beef

After about a year of hostility hip hop cousins Q-Tip and Consequence have finally made amends. Consequence had previously dissed his famous cousin and superstar Kanye West in several interviews for what he felt was mishandled during his career.
But in the spirit of the holidays, the relatives have put their differences aside heading into 2012.
"After a very intense & extensive meeting, Q-Tip & myself have resolved our public & private issues. With so many manufactured “beefs” in Hip-Hop, this situation was very real and shows that their can be resolution through humility & dialogue," Consequence shared.
He also added a photo of he and Tip playing with Cons' newborn son.
"Check out this pic of us welcoming my son Caiden into our historic fold." he added.
Consequence had been affiliated with Tip's legendary group A Tribe Called Quest in the 90s and joined Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music before departing acrimoniously last year.

Consequence Squashes Kanye Beef

Consequence says that his feud with former G.O.O.D. Music associate Kanye West is over. He said the two finally had words, aired their grievances and finally put the nonsense behind them. While it seems he still has bad blood with 'other people' (ahem--Q-Tip), he says he and West are all good now.
"I got a couple of updates," Cons said in an interview. "Me and Kanye spoke. When you have a situation like we had, you know, it's emotional, it's tempers flying, it's a lot of people chiming in. You know what I'm saying? Whether you're referring to the bloggers, the fans, supporters on either side -- unfortunately when you see war, you see division. You know what I'm saying? It got to the point where I was just like, 'I'm gonna hit son one time and one time only and see where you're at with this. Is it going to be all the way turnt up.'"
"So we spoke, well, I hit him and he hit me back with one of those all caps tirades. It was an e-mail," Cons continued. "He was pissed and rightfully so and I was pissed and that's why things happened the way they happened but like I said, he spoke his piece, I spoke my piece. He told me he loved me. The feud is over with Kanye. Is the feud over with other people? See me in the streets."

Pusha T On Consequence's Disses

Pusha T On Consequence's Disses:
G.O.O.D. Music rapper Pusha T is clowning his former labelmate Consequence once again. The two have been feuding ever since Cons left the imprint and began taking shots at founder Kanye West and other affiliates within the crew. Cons even previously accused Pusha of stealing rhymes from him.
It doesn't appear that the bad blood will be subsiding any time soon.
"I just think it's pretty pathetic, man. It all boils down to loyalty, and having certain principles. Nobody maliciously tries to do anything," Pusha explained in an interview. "This is a business, and sometimes things don't work -- some artists don't pop. But I don't think you blame the head of that crew for it, especially in a business like this, which is so self-sufficient. It's really unfortunate, but what can you say?"

Big Sean Downplays G.O.O.D. Beefs

Big Sean Downplays G.O.O.D. Beefs
Big Sean is quite the diplomatic emcee. When asked about perceived shots fired at his G.O.O.D. Music cohort Kanye West--Yeezy has been called by both The Game and former G.O.O.D. Music artist Consequence--Sean took the high road.
"Kanye, that situation with him and Consequence, that's way personal," Sean explained in an interview. "That's not a random dude dissing. That was somebody who was part of the fam, was all in the fam together and then they had their problems..[Game's 'Otis' diss?] I didn't even take it as a diss. I took it as him doing what he do. Don't he got an album that's about to come out?"

Q-Tip Responds To Consequence

Q-Tip Responds To Consequence
Rapper Q-Tip has taken exception to comments made by his cousin and fellow emcee Consequence regarding Tip's alleged ambivalence towards getting Cons' second album released, which Q-Tip was reportedly executive producing alongside Kanye West. In a recent interview, Consequence blasted his cousin and also called himself 'the glue' within A Tribe Called Quest's latter years. Tip, the famous frontman for Tribe, didn't take too kindly to Consequence's choice words.
"GLUE? I gave the nigga a look," Q-Tip tweeted. Consequence was featured on several mid-90s Tribe songs when he was still an unknown rapper. "He doesn't know what he's talking about."

Consequence Blasts Q-Tip & Kanye

Consequence Blasts Q-Tip & Kanye
Rapper Consequence is no longer affiliated with G.O.O.D. Music and he is no longer friends with G.O.O.D. Music head Kanye West nor is he friends with his cousin Q-Tip. The rapper revealed in a recent interview that there is some bad blood between him and his more famous former associates.
“We definitely have personal issues,” he told Sway Calloway. “[Q-Tip] and Kanye elected to be executive producers of my Cons TV project. It's ABG [ed: anybody gets it].”
“I’m not harping on anything, but I’ma point out the obvious. I committed my time, my energy, my efforts to what we all committed to,” he added. “That’s the Cons TV project. It’s not to be understated. They rolled with me through everything. They heard the stories on the ‘Job Song.’ They heard ‘Uncle Rahiem.’ They rooted for me. This was the coup de gras.”
“My purpose for coming here was clarification," Cons said. "There are many fans who still align me with G.O.O.D. Music, and it’s not fair to their intellect that they’re fooled in that matter."
