Juelz Santana Talks About JoJo Incident Via Power99FM

Juelz Santana stopped by Power 99 for a quick chat. The Dipset rapper was asked about Atlanta rap star Waka Flocka Flame's recent appearance at a Dipset reunion show in New York City, where Waka took the time to diss his former associate Gucci Mane.

"I mean, it wasn't that it surprised me," Santana said of Waka's diss. "Waka's Waka, Waka wants to do what Waka wants to do. That's nothing to do with me."

But Santana was also asked about the recent altercation between JoJo Simmons and Hyneif--an affiliate of Santana's. JoJo was allegedly attacked over the diss record he released earlier this year, which took aim at Juelz.

"Nothing, nothing," JoJo said of the incident. "It's just, you know? It's cool, he's cool, we cool. It's cool. Nothing happened, nothing's going on."

Juelz Santana Pushes His Album Back Via Power99FM Interview

Juelz Santana is pushing back his forthcoming album. The project was previously announced as dropping in 2013, and that much hasn't changed--but Juelz told Power 99 that the album won't be released until towards the end of the year, at the earliest.

"Born To Lose, Built To Win, that's what everything is pretty much gearing up to," Juelz said. "Just pay attention, I told you, this is that free pay-per-view. [It'll come out] probably fourth quarter. I ain't got no date, definitely no date but you'll start hearing music soon. I been working for a minute. I ain't gonna say [I've been] out of commission, but I ain't been doing what I've supposed to been doing for a little minute. So I'm just doing a little making up right now."

JoJo Simmons Attacked

There are reports that Rev. Run's eldest son, JoJo Simmons, was attacked by one of Juelz Santana's Skull Gang associates and forced to call Santana and apologize for releasing a diss record aimed at Santana earlier this year.

A photo was posted on Instagram of Simmons fearfully talking on the phone as the unnamed man holds him around his collar.

"Guess who I caught y'all Lil punk a$$ Jo Jo that made the diss track look at his face when he ace! #facts shouldn't pop sh*t if u not bout that life real n***as don't care who u related too f**k n***a."

Kimbella Pregnancy Details Revealed

Kimbella's pregnancy hasn't exactly been a secret--the world has known she was expecting a baby since last winter. But the "Love & Hip Hop" star didn't divulge much information over the next several months other than the baby's daddy being Juelz Santana.

But a few details have come out.

Kimbella is apparently ready to pop any day now. Also, she's expecting a baby girl.

Her pregnancy was revealed shortly before her best friend Yandy Smith announced her pregnancy. Yandy gave birth to a baby boy last week.

Juelz Santana Gives Dipset Update

The Dipset reunion has seemed to have quieted down lately, but Juelz Santana says that, while he is currently focusing on his mixtapes and upcoming album, the crew is still prepping their next joint effort. But, more than anything, Juelz wants the fans to remain patient and he promises his music won't disappoint.

"I'll probably drop two mixtapes before the album and we gonna get everything right, we gonna get everything back in the proper perspective where it need to be," he told MTV News. "When I put out my music it will be well worth the wait, that's all I can say."

"Hopefully we gonna get that Diplomat album poppin'," Santana plugged. "We just want to do that the right way."

Juelz Santana Says Lil Wayne Album Coming

Despite reports last week that rapper Lil Wayne has 'moved on' from his proposed album with fellow hip hop star Juelz Santana, Juelz himself is now claiming that the project is still forthcoming. The album, tentatively-titled I Can't Feel My Face, has been in the works for years.

"Me and Wayne been recording music when it comes to I Can't Feel My Face for about five years," Juelz explained to BET. "We actually have a ton of music that got leaked on the streets. For a couple reasons it didn't come out at one point. The same way that the T-Wayne album...ain't come out."

"Make a long story short: you see the interview with Weezy...He did reach out to me when he came home," added Santana. "He reached out to me like, 'I think we need to capitalize on the album.' At the time, my studio had just gotten raided by the police. It was kind of a real tight situation for me."

"I spoke to Wayne recently. I spoke to him before the interview and right after the interview," says Juelz. "We gon' get it. I guess at the time he said he moved on, people were making it seem like he was saying he was never gonna do the album. We spoke about that. We definitely gonna get back into that.

Kimbella On Kimbella

Kimbella may sometimes be portrayed as the evil villainess of "Love & Hip Hop," but the fiery hellraiser spoke to Necole Bitchie about her image and what her initial expectations were when she joined the show this season.

"Of course it wasn’t what I expected. I don’t think there was any way I really could’ve been prepared for it but I’m really happy," she said. "But I do wish I wasn’t as nice as I was. I wish I would’ve shown my more aggressive side."

But, as the interviewer points out, Kimbella's been in numerous fights on the show.

"Yes but that’s what I mean. People take my kindness for weakness," Kimbella adds. "I don’t judge anybody. Basically people pre-judge me. And watching it, I realize I should’ve had my guard up with each individual. I’m not as nice as they made me seem. Anything that comes my way, I do not back down. I hold my own. I don’t care who you are, I’m gonna fight for who I am, take it or leave it. Some of the girls wanted to judge me and they didn’t know me and it’s pitiful."

The model announced in the season finale that she's expecting her second child with rapper Juelz Santana.

Jim Jones & Juelz Santana Are OK

Rapper Jim Jones says that he and fellow emcee Juelz Santana have calmed things down between them after their female companions got into a brawl on national TV. Jones' fiancee Chrissy Lampkin got into fisticuffs with Santana's baby mama Kimbella on their show "Love & Hip Hop."

Jones told TMZ. "I wish it had never happened," and insists that the two are on good terms now.

Jones also passed out 5,000 turkeys to families in need at Ricardo's Restaurant in Harlem this week.

Juelz Santana Arrested For Threats

Rapper Juelz Santana was arrested over the weekend and charged with making terroristic threats. According to TMZ, the rapper was arrested after New Jersey police attempted to search his car and he refused. The vehicle was impounded.

The rapper was released later on $46,500 bail.

This was Santana's second run-in with the law this year. In February, his New Jersey studio was raided by the authorities under suspicion of illicit activities. Police discovered 17 small baggies of marijuana, after a ten-month investigation into alleged gang activity in the studio.

Jim Jones On Dipset Delays

Jim Jones addressed fans growing impatience with the seemingly-endless delays on Dipset's reunion album. Since making the announcement that the crew had reunited last year, fans anticipation has been high. But nothing has come of the reunion as of yet.

"Currently in motion, we been working . . . it hasn't been going as fast as we'd like it to go because everybody got so much business that they're doing aside from where we left it," Jones said. "But we definitely been locking in." Shout outs to Cam, shout outs to Juelz, shout outs to Freekey Zekey. Everybody's on board."

Juelz Santana Stopped, Searched

Juelz Santana was stopped and searched for guns and drugs by police officers on Tuesday (March 22) which caused him to miss a performance at Chris Brown's record release party. Santana was reportedly stopped at the door by police and not allowed to enter the building.

"Nobody got arrested. They were just giving him a hard time," said Juelz' lawyer Joe Wunstop told The New York Post. "By the time they finished searching, Juelz was upset -- so it wouldn't have made for a good show. He's not part of the Bloods gang." Wunstop told The New York Post that police stopped Juelz thinking that members of his entourage "might be affiliated -- friend bring friends and he's a really friendly dude."

Santana's studio was raided back in January, where officers found two 9mm handguns, ammunition and bags of marijuana. The rapper is currently free on $125,000 bail.

Juelz Santana Supports Remy Ma

Juelz Santana has had to deal with his fair share of legal issues recently. The rapper was arrested on various drugs and weapons-related charges following a January raid on his New Jersey studio. Santana's on issues may have compelled him to feel some sympathy for incarcerated femcee Remy Ma. Remy learned last week that her appeal had been denied and her seven-year sentence will be upheld.

"Free Remy," Juelz said during an interview with radio personality Steph Lova. "It's an unfortunate situation. They trying to put me in a similar situation, God forbid. But you know, Remy'll be home soon. She's strong, strong. She's stronger than a lot of n*ggas out there. So I know she's holding her head, I know she's good."
