"I definitely go to Wiz for advice," she added.

Tech N9ne Blasts SXSW

Tech N9ne had harsh words for the popular SXSW music festival. The Austin, TX-based SXSW has grown from indie showcase to one of the biggest music fests in the country, but Tech is angry at the way he's been treated during shows.
"Sorry man. I probably don't say the things that are politically correct, but f*ck South by Southwest," Tech told SOHH. "I feel that way. I don't give a f*ck! You know why? Because my fans speak and it's about money. I'm just saying, they could say they won't ever have me perform again, I wouldn't give a f*ck. N*gga, we'd create our 'own' festival and fill the f*ckin' stands. Tech N9ne can say what the f*ck he wanna say, blackball me. We are our own machine. I'mma shutup, man. And I hope they get some feedback from this."
"Everybody talkin' about South by Southwest and all the parties and shows and girls ... n*gga I tried to go see Bun B and I couldn't even get in!," Tech added. "Luckily, I got into a Devin the Dude show because that's the homie. These badges don't mean sh*t, n*gga. Show me the party. I go onstage no later than 10 o'clock on my tours, n*gga at 1 a.m. my body is shuttin' down ... f*ck that! N*gga I don't give a f*ck about going last, put me first. Let Mac Miller go last or somebody like that. I'm just sayin', put the n*ggas that's blowin' up on stage first. Put Wiz Khalifa last.

Wiz Khalifa On Cam'ron:

Wiz Khalifa revealed plans to include a collaboration with Harlemite Cam'ron on Wiz's upcoming album O.N.I.F.C.. Wiz explained in a recent interview why he wanted to work with Cam and why the collaboration was included on Wiz's album as opposed to his mixtape.
“Cam’s not on the mixtape, Cam’s on the album. I did that more justice than putting it on the mixtape, because I’ve been waiting for that collaboration forever,” he said. “First of all, I’ve been a huge Cam’ron fan forever. Him and Snoop Dogg are my favorite rappers. I’ve been trying to get up with Cam for a long time, but it never really happened. My man [Sam] Crespo who works at Atlantic, he called Cam and gave Cam my number and Cam texted me. I was like, oh sh*t, it’s Cam.”
“Cam sent me a song and I did my thing on it, sent it to him and he knocked it right out. It’s real sh*t that people want to hear from both of us," Wiz added. "That’s why I put it on the album. Because the sh*t I did for him is me going into his world, and then the sh*t he did for me is polar opposites.”

When Wiz Met Amber...

Wiz Khalifa is still basking in the glow of his new engagement to longtime girlfriend Amber Rose. The Pittsburgh rapper recently reminisced about his first date with the buxom beauty. Wiz revealed that the high-profile couple's beginning was about as low-key as a first date can get.
Aside from ordering a pizza and watching DVDs, of course.
"It was when I was moving out to L.A. and she had actually already lived there at the time and we lived in Hollywood. We were trying to find a nice little spot to get something to eat- something low key. We just went to Mel's diner, sat down, got some turkey burgers and some strawberry lemonade ... and that was our first date."

Rapper Wiz Khalifa may have made the Forbes Hip Hop Cash Kings List last year with $11 million in earnings, but the Pittsburgh native says that's small potatoes compared to where he's aiming to be by the end of 2012. Wiz told the magazine that he wants to add some digits to that number this year.
“Oh yeah, man, I’m going to make $100 million this year,” he said. “No doubt, $100 million. The new mixtape [will] get everybody ready and get their wallets open.”
Wiz is estimated to pull down about $70,000 from gigs. He's prepping his mixtape, and his sophomore album O.N.I.F.C.

Snoop Dogg Nominates Wiz Khalifa?

Snoop Dogg's endorsement carries a lot of weight in certain circles. And the Doggfather's most devoted fanbase is probably the stoners. Snoop exercised his influence over those under the influence by nominating hip hop upstart Wiz Khalifa for High Times Magazine's Stoner of the Year.
"It gives my great honor and pleasure, being on the fact that I have won the Stoner of the Year Award before and that I am on the board of stoners, for me to take time right now to say my recommendation, slash, nomination for Stoner of the Year 2011 is none other than Pittsburgh's finest - yes sir, Mr. Wiz Khalifa," he explained. "That's a prestigious award, to have that on your mantel...who better [than Wiz to receive it?] He smoked everywhere he went. He did it high, he did it low. He did it underwater, he did it overseas. He did it everywhere he went. He's the uncut champion. He's the Stoner of the Year, man, and this is coming from me, Snoop Dogg."

Mac Miller Is Staying Indie

Mac Miller doesn't see the benefits of signing with a major label. The indie star was featured on Forbes "30 Under 30" list, and shared that he's happy without being under the thumb of a powerhouse.
“So my whole thing is, I’m more into keeping independent because I’m more into working with people who I know very well,” he said. “But if I reach a point where there’s things I can’t do, which we haven’t reached that point yet, but if I ever reach a point where there’s something I can’t do and I need some help with a major, who knows. I’m not anti-major, like 'I hate the majors.' I’m not that type of person.”
He also acknowledged that there will be critics who will compare him to his contemporaries for obvious reasons.
“People are going to call me Eminem maybe cause I’m white, or Wiz ‘cause I’m from Pittsburgh and that’s my friend. But I don’t really worry about comparisons, because when it’s all said and done, there will be no more comparisons," he added. "I’m a 19-year-old kid and fairly new at this.”

Amber Rose On Lola Monroe

With Wiz Khalifa adding rapper/model LoLa Monroe, his girlfriend/video vixen Amber Rose gave her two cents about the signing the sexy femcee. Rose made sure to let everyone know what the pecking order is in the House De Khalifa.
"I am the queen. She is the first lady. Lola is the sh*t," she said. "You guys really got to get into her. She's super talented, she's my sister, she's super duper dope and she is the first lady of Taylor Gang...period. She's going to come in, she's killin' the game and she's working really hard. Me and Lola both have very, very similar lives. We were both strippers at 15-years-old. We both been through a really hard struggle. We've both been scrutinized for a lot of different things."

Rick Ross, Jeezy No-Shows

Rappers Rick Ross and Young Jeezy missed a show last night (October 28) in Philadelphia. Ross was supposed to perform at the Power 99FM "Powerhouse Concert," as was Jeezy, Wiz Khalifa, Meek Mill, Chris Brown, Big Sean and others. No explanation has been given for either rapper's absence.
Ross has had ongoing health problems recently and was forced to cancel some performances over the last two weeks since he suffered two seizures in one day on October 14th, prior to a show in Memphis.
There are rumors that tension between Jeezy and Ross' camps also may have contributed to the no-shows.

Lola Monroe Joins Taylor Gang

Rapper/model LoLa Monroe has joined Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang imprint. She broke the news during an interview on Atlanta's V-103 FM. She said that the two of them shared a similar vision, which led to her joining Wiz's crew.
“We got it in with Taylor Gang. Wwe Taylored now,” she said. “Wiz is like a positive free individual that’s about his business and that matches everything I’ve created on my side. When he reached out, he was like, ‘I feel as though our movements represent the same thing, so I want you to rep Taylor Gang.’ And I agreed, so it’s only right. Plus, out of all the situations that came to me, my business instincts and just the comfort level, I felt it was just the right move with him. He’s a stand-up dude and it just felt right.”
The Washington, D.C. native is recording her debut.
