Russell Brand's Phone Controversy

Just weeks after Chris Brown was blasted for snatching a fan's phone in Miami, actor/comedian Russell Brand appears to be launching his best Breezy impression. The former Mr. Katy Perry is wanted by police in New Orleans over the incident, which took place when a photographer reportedly tried to take Brand's pic on his iPhone.

“The officers are trying to get in touch with Mr. Brand,” Sergeant Frank Robertson, a spokesperson for the New Orleans Police Department told RadarOnline. “The case is still being investigated, and no charges have been filed on Mr. Brand as of yet.”

“The ink is not even fresh on it, this case is not even 8 hours old yet,” Sergeant Robertson went on to tell Radar. “It is just so new and there are variable circumstance. Our office don’t even have the report yet but it is an ongoing investigation.”

Diddy & Russell Are After Katy Perry?

Rumors are swirling (no pun intended) regarding pop superstar Katy Perry and a possible hook up with hip hop mogul Diddy. Yes, Diddy is 'allegedly' dating Cameron Diaz, but wandering eyes spotted the two A-listers getting a little close-for-comfort at a Vanity Fair party this week.

According to Bossip, KP has also caught the eye of another, older hip hop impresario. That's right, Russell Simmons has apparently cast his eye towards Ms. Perry as well. He supposedly asked her for her phone number at pre-Oscar party last week.

All it takes is a divorce from Russell Brand to make this chick the most sought-after woman in music? Who knew...
