Jay-Z Predicted Jeter's 3,000th

This weekend, New York Yankees star Derek Jeter reach his landmark 3,000th hit. Turns out, rapper Jay-Z predicted the team captain would become the first Yankee to reach the milestone and only the second player in MLB history to notch 3,000 hits.

"I actually called it," Jay-Z said. "I called it for the wrong side though. I thought he was gonna hit the short porch (in right), but he surprised everyone. "I taped (my prediction) as well, so I'm good. I'm a Yankees fan so I've known him. He's my best friend," Jay-Z joked.

Ace Hood Defends Big Talk ''I'm That Next Big Boy In the Game''

Rapper Ace Hood is defending an earlier statement comparing himself to New York Yankees superstar Derek Jeter. Hood believes his star is on the rise and that any similarities between himself and world champion baseball players will soon be more obvious to the general public.

"I'm just saying I'm that young boy. I'm that next big boy in the game," Ace said. "I'm soon to be that franchise name, that household name. When you mention Ace Hood, you see hundreds of thousands of fans who are supporting him and he's packing out concerts and stadiums. We're going to slowly and surely work our way towards that. I'm just letting them know that in due time, I will be that big, household name that y'all always planned for me to be."
