Slimm Blasts Vivica A. Fox

Sooo...remember when Vivica A. Fox claimed that she trusted a 'six pack and a smile' and realized before it was too late that she should break off her engagement to her ex-fiance, Slimm?

Well, it looks like Slimm doesn't quite agree with Ms. Fox's assessment of how and why things ended. He told Sister 2 Sister that his famous ex-boo is trying to save face.

"I totally understand that a person would rather save face and avoid admitting their fiancé ended the relationship," he says. "So I understood why Vivica didn’t admit the reality of what really took place…. She would have come out better if she stated we went our separate ways if she wanted to avoid the “true” nature of the breakup. The main thing is don’t lie… she and I know what happened so just be cordial and keep it moving. She knew from day one when I first met her I would joke and say “hey baby don’t hit me with that 2 can play that game” lol those methods destroy relationships. I hate games and negativity."

"Further more if I was using her for fame then why wouldn’t I play the game, put my pride aside and follow through on tying the knot?" he adds. "The reason being I’m not that type of man and I refuse to sell myself short for fame."

Vivica A. Fox On Her Ex

Actress Vivica A. Fox surprised fans by calling off her engagement to her former fiance, Slimm; and in a new interview, Fox says that she saw things weren't going right in the relationship and that she should have been wiser about the entire situation.

"Sometimes in relationships there are warning signs (I’ve been married before) and if there are warning signs you should pay attention to them before you get families involved, all the hoopla and things like that," Fox told "Access Hollywood." "If things aren’t working out, it’s okay to move on."

"Sometimes when you’re successful you just have to make sure that someone is coming to you with real intentions," she added. "That means taking the time to get to know them for real and make sure they’re not dating you as the celebrity but they’re dating you as a person. I mean you are who you are if you are a celebrity. But that does make it a little bit difficult to make sure that someone isn’t marrying you for a shopping spree.

"To be honest with you, I don’t know [if I have a type,]" she added. "I told myself I’m going to try something different next time ‘cause I happen to fall in love with a six pack and a smile and look what that’s gotten me.

Vivica Fox Getting Married To Omar

Vivica Fox got engaged to her younger boyfriend, Atlanta club promoter Omar “Slim” White, 27, during the holidays. A source told us that White proposed to Fox, 46, on Dec. 26 with an 8-karat stunner while the two were staying at the Ritz Carlton in South Beach. Fox and White, who’ve been dating for just over a year, spent New Year’s Eve with Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union and Sanaa Lathan at a bash hosted by Chris Bosh. It will be Fox’s second marriage. Her rep confirmed the engagement.
