Bobby Brown Busted Again

New Edition member and R&B star Bobby Brown was arrested yesterday (March26) on suspicion of DUI in Reseda, CA. The ex-husband of late pop superstar Whitney Houston has been busted several times in the past and was at the center of controversy last month when he exited his former wife's funeral after an altercation with security.
Brown was also reportedly talking on his cellphone while driving--which is against the law in California.
Bobby was taken to jail in Van Nuys and was subsequently bailed out.

Bobby Brown's Statement:

Bobby Brown issued a statement explaining why he departed the funeral of his ex-wife, superstar Whitney Houston, fairly early in the service. According to Brown, he and his family were disrespected by security officials at the church where the service was being held.
"My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions," he stated. "I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move. Security then prevented me from attempting to see my daughter Bobbi-Kristina. In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene. My children are completely distraught over the events. This was a day to honor Whitney. I doubt Whitney would have wanted this to occur. I will continue to pay my respects to my ex-wife the best way I know how."
Brown later performed and paid tribute to Houston onstage. However, his son, Bobby, Jr. lashed out via Twitter.
"F*ck Fame. Sh*t ain’t everything it seems. I’ll never let them transform me. Everything is a show to these people," he tweeted. "We came to show respect. And they tried to make it a ‘show’. Krissi I love you with all of my heart. Whitney I love you with all my heart. Rest Easy step momma."

Bobby Brown On Bobbi Kristina

R&B singer Bobby Brown addresses reports that his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, had been rushed to Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles following the death of her mother, his ex-wife, superstar Whitney Houston. Brown confirmed that his daughter had been to the medical facility.
"My daughter did visit with doctors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles," Bobby Brown says in a statement. "She has been released and is presently with my family including her siblings. Obviously the death of her mother is affecting her. However we will get through this tragedy as a family."
Bobbi Kristina and Whitney had been especially close. Brown and Houston had been married from 1992-2007.

Janet Jackson On Whitney Houston:

Pop superstar Janet Jackson talked to CNN's Anderson Cooper about the sudden death of fellow diva Whitney Houston. Jackson shared her memories of interacting with Whitney over the years and offered some advice to Houston's teenage daughter Bobbi Kristina in her time of mourning.
"It's very, very devastating and I pray for her and her family, even Bobby. I mean, he's going through so much," Janet said. "They are all going through so much. The mother, it's very sad."
"She was known as the voice. When she would open her mouth and this instrument would come out you would obviously understand why," Janet continued. "She was such a sweet sweet soul. Especially back in the early 80s and early 90s is when I connected with Whitney the most. It doesn't matter if we were doing an awards show. We would always take the time out to find one another. Either she'd come to my dressing room to say hey and I'd be in makeup or I'd find her in her dressing room to say hey, we always found time to talk to one another. She was such a sweet soul."
"It's a very very tough time. Even though it’s still a loss. I lost my brother, she lost her mother. There's still a difference, even though there's a still a loss to a family, I don't know what that's like being so young," she said. "It was hard for me. It was very very difficult for me. I didn't want to accept it, it's very difficult. You have to come to terms at some point, you have to actually give it up to God and it sounds so mean but you have to move on you can't hold onto that because it can be very devastating. Sometimes therapy is the best thing."
"You figure out a way to move on. It's always right here," Janet said about coping with the loss of a loved one. "There's never a day, not one day has gone by where I don't think about my brother and my other brothers and sisters say the same thing."
