Master P Joins A$AP Rocky Onstage

Rapper A$AP Rocky bought out surprise guest, No Limit Records founder Master P, during his set at the second weekend of Coachella 2012. The New Orleans rap mogul was an unexpected addition to Rocky's show, and P came out alongside his son, Romeo.
“And I’m so ’bout it, ’bout it, I might roll up in a tank,” he said prior to the guests showing up onstage and everyone ripping through P's 1997 hit "Make 'Em Say Uggh!"
A$AP also honored the memory of Trayvon Martin with the P single "I Miss my Homies."
“It was murder with the case of Trayvon Martin recently and me and P thought it would be right to dedicate something to him," he said.

Master P Spoke To Mystikal

Mystikal was one of the brightest stars on the No Limit Records label in the late 1990s. Now that he's signed with that label's former rivals, Cash Money Records, the rapper has been sure to make it clear that there is no lingering ill will between his old camp and his new one.
Mystikal compared his previous run with the No Limit soldiers and his current situation. He even revealed that No Limit founder Master P reached out and voiced his support for the rapper's new beginning.
"The times are different, first of all. It's like oranges and apples. The formula is still the same. 'It's the Take Over The World' formula and 'Don't Give A F*ck.' Show them what it is, don't tell them. It's just on another level. This is a new day and a new time for real," Mystikal said in an interview. "[Am I still cool with Master P?] Yeah. I talked to him not too long ago. He congratulated me on the signing and everything, man. Gave me a couple of pointers and keep your head up and get that money. That's how that conversation went."

Cymphonique Miller's Show Debuts In Feb

Cymphonique Miller, daughter of hip hop mogul Master P, is debuting her new TV show "How to Rock" on Nickelodeon in February. The show is one of several new series launching on the network.
“I tried everything in my power to stop this girl because this can be a hard, sick business — really easy to get taken advantage of,” Master P told AllHipHop. “I guess you can’t hold raw talent back.”
“We’re hoping for great things from Cymphonique — a big, fat, giant hit,” Margie Cohn, Nickelodeon’s president for original programming added. “That’s what I’ve been working for with this series, so why not say it?”
Cymphonique will also be featured in an eight part video series documenting her journey; and an original pop song “Only You Can Be You” will be featured on the show and is already available on iTunes.

Master P Returning To Rap Career

Master P, founder of No Limit Records, is returning to his rap career. The mogul has announced that he is releasing a new mixtape called TMZ: Too Many Zeros, three years since he announced he was done as a performer.
“I named this new record TMZ Too Many Zeros because it’s true when they say ‘more money… more problems’,” Master P. told AllHipHop. “I’m on my Donald Trump swag. I could lose it all and get it back in 72 days. Good or bad, when the media is on you that means you are still relevant.”
P's son Romeo is actively running his newly relaunched No Limit Forever label and introducing new artists.

NAACP Criticize Police At Master P Show

NAACP Criticize Police At Master P Show
The NAACP branch in Terrebonne, Louisiana is blasting the police presence at a Master P concert this week. The head of the chapter claims that the officers very presence carried racial undertones and was unnecessary. There were reportedly almost 40 officers in attendance from Houma and Terrebonne's Police Departments, all wearing bulletproof vests at the City Club. Master P., Mystikal, Romeo and others were performing.
There was also a Narcotics Task Force and a SWAT team parked nearby.
The police say they were there due to other spring break events in the area, but local residents claim the police's concentration was in front of the City Club.
“It had racial overtones,” Jerome Boykin, head of Terrebonne's NAACP told The Houma Courier. “When you have white rock groups come to town you don't have this much.”
