Waka Flocka Flame squashed his short-lived 'beef' with fellow hip hop star Wiz Khalifa several months ago, but Waka took the time recently to explain exactly what started the whole thing. According to Waka, the somewhat one-sided feud began with weed.
He started the thing as a joke--but things got a bit out of hand.
"I met [Wiz] through French Montana, he was a cool dude," he said. "I gave him a whole CD of Lex [Luger] beats…and that's how they hooked ['Taylor Gang'] up. He was just cool like, he smoked mosquito-like blunts - when I met him, he was smoking little blunts. I gave him three grams [in my blunt] and he couldn't hang, but we was just playing though. I guess too many people on his Twitter or whatever [didn't get the joke]."

Despite reports several months ago that rapper Waka Flocka Flame had signed a management agreement with former Death Row head Suge Knight, Waka is now saying that there was never any type of deal in place between he and the notorious former mogul. "I ain't sign no partnership with Suge Knight ever in my life," Wakal said. "Suge to me, he was just an OG in the game. If a guy go [and] express his feelings towards me and tell me what he like of me or the mistakes he made so I don't make the mistakes, why not listen to him? You feel what I'm saying? Just because you talk, holla at a person or eat a burger with a person, hang with a person for a day, don't mean they handling all of your business. They scared of that sh*t, though, so they gonna throw it in the media. They don't want it with a n***a like Suge." |

Rapper Waka Flocka Flame has announced the release date for his upcoming album. The Atlanta hip hop star has been prepping the project, which will be his sophomore release, for months, and he took to his Twitter account to let fans know the big news. "#NewsFlash my album dropping on June 12," Waka tweeted. There are few details currently available regarding the project, which is tentatively titled Triple F Life: Friends, Fans & Family. |

Despite reports, Gucci Mane is still incarcerated with no official release date. The rapper's Brick Squad compatriot Waka Flocka Flame tweeted "Gucci home," which sparked many false reports that the rapper had been freed on yesterday (October 21.) Gucci has been incarcerated for 38 days. Court records do not disclose when the rapper will be released, but he is definitely still behind bars. |
