Robin Thicke & Paula Patton's Tax Woes

Celebrity couple Robin Thicke and Paula Patton are reportedly indebted to the U.S. government for $492,583.49. They reportedly owe for income taxes from 2009 and 2010. The IRS has issued a lien on their property until the debt is resolved.

But according to reports from their camp, the couple has already begun working to pay off the debt.

"They've already paid more than half of this and they're working with the IRS to pay the rest," a rep told TMZ.

MC Hammer Denies Owing Taxes

It was reported yesterday (December 12) that veteran rapper MC Hammer was indebted to the U.S. government and owed the IRS approximately $800,000. Hammer himself hopped on Twitter and denied the story.

"700k … Don’t get too excited .. I paid them already and kept my receipt. Stamped by a US Federal Judge,” Hammer tweeted.

Hammer lost most of his money hiring people from his old Oakland neighborhood to work for him during his heyday.

“I didn’t just take money and say, ‘I want to be a blessing to myself,’” he said. “I took my money and employed 200 people in my community. I had a payroll of a million dollars a month at times.”

Trinidad Officials Facing Audit For Spending Over $800,000 On Nicki Minaj Concert

Officials in Trinidad and Tobago are in hot water after reports surfaced that they spent over $800,000 on a concert featuring Nicki Minaj.
The concert, which was featured on her “My Time Now” MTV documentary, was part of the country's “Localise It” fest a fashion show and live performances.
The rapper, who is of Trinidadian descent, was paid a large portion of the $825,000 spent--- $382,000, $60,000 of which was spent on hotel expenses.
Additionally $15,000 was spent for the concert's advertising, $75,000 was spent or the venue, $60,000 was spent for the fashion show, $40,000 was spent for the local acts, $32,000 went to the Copyright Organization of Trinidad and Tobago and $26,000 was paid to cultural acts.
Diego Martin Central MP Dr Amery Browne has called for an audit into the show.
The organizer of the event, Sport and Youth Affairs Minister Anil Roberts has since spoken out against Brown and asked him to “focus on the facts and stop trying to play games.”
He also adds,

“The key issue is he had the contract with Nicki Minaj—a Trinbagonian superstar—the number one Trinbagonian out there worldwide. He had the paper.”

Hope she makes sure to pay her taxes. They dont want to see anybody get no money.
