Miley Cyrus Responds To Tyler, the Creator

Twitter can lead to some strange celebrity exchanges. Tyler, the Creator decided to take a crack at former teen queen Miley Cyrus and her new, 'edgy' hairdo. The Odd Future frontman made a joke about her look and she wasted no time responding.

"Hahahaha. She was like 'Hey, I Wanna Do Something Different.......F**k Me Up Real Quick.' Hahahahaha," Tyler tweeted.

Miley apparently didn't find his comments amusing. She fired back, "My 'barber couldn't even come close to the f**k job that is your face. # your right you should shut up."

"PS Your music is dope," she added.

"That's awesome," replied Tyler.

Tyler Knew Frank Ocean's Secret

Odd Future frontman Tyler, the Creator revealed on Formspring that he was well-aware that his OFWGKTA bandmate Frank Ocean was bisexual. Despite the rapper having been criticized by some for homophobic lyrics, he says that he knew Ocean's sexuality long ago and supported his friend.

“Hahaha yeah, ive know for a while, he told me a long time ago," he said. "It was just funny cause i was getting bashed as a homophobe or whatever and i kept saying dude how am i one?"

"I have gay friends like what the f**k leave me alone haha," he continued. "Yeah thats my n***a tho, sh*t is hard for him but he did that.”

Earl Sweatshirt Lands Label Deal

Odd Future's Earl Sweatshirt has landed a label deal with Tan Cresada, which is distributed by Columbia Records. Earl has never released a solo album and has only worked sporadically with Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All since their breakthrough. Earl spent two years in Samoa at the Coral Reef Academy.

The label will be releasing a collaborative album between Earl and Odd Future frontman Tyler, The Creator called EarlWolf. Tan Cresada will also release Earl's studio debut and a project by another OFWGKTA member, The Internet.

Earl only appeared on one track from Odd Future's March 2012 release, OF Tape, Vol. 2.

Rah Digga Explains Tyler Beef

Rah Digga and Tyler, the Creator have squashed their beef, but Rah Digga felt the need to explain why she dropped her diss track "The N***a In Me." According to Rah, she wanted to stand up for both herself and fellow veteran femcee MC Lyte.

"When I caught wind of what was going on with MC Lyte, I was like 'come on man.' She's not going to come out swinging. Pick on somebody that's going to give you a run for your money," she said. "Everybody excuses it like he's a crazy little kid. Kids gotta be accountable for their actions."

"At the end of the day, this is Hip Hop," she added. "It's no beef. It's not when I see you my goons are going to get you. I'm about to go watch him perform, like stage left, Wolf Gang, what's good? There's no beef. Somebody poked fun in their music and I poked fun back."

T-Pain's An Odd Future Fan

T-Pain took to Twitter to show some love to the Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All crew. The technologically-enhanced crooner praised the collective's oddball "Loiter Squad" show and engaged in a playful back-and-forth with Taco and Tyler of Odd Future.

"#loitersqaud is the sh*t homie. Congrats on the show my n***a. Tell @fucktyler I hate frogs.," he tweeted, and replied to Taco's shout-out. "Even if that was a sarcastic tweet hahahahaaaa. I am pretty cool tho lol"

He also cracked a few jokes with Tyler.

"Dude I didn't even think this was really your page," T-Pain tweeted. "What the f**k is that twitcon dude hahahahaaaa"

Tyler Says Stop Living In the Past

Tyler, the Creator has had enough of hip hop nostalgia. The Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All frontman voiced his irritation with hip hop fans pining for the genre's previous eras and anyone who dismissed the current wave of rappers making their way.

"I Genuinely Hate The People Who Would Ever Say 'Hip Hop Died' Or Some Corny Sh*t Like That. 'If This Is Considered Hip Hop, We A....' STFU," he tweeted.

"This Is Not 94, N***a, Grow Up, It Is 2012, Not Everybody Wanna Hear That Sh*t You Been Playing Since N***as Was Born," he added. "Its New Stuff My Guy"

Odd Future's Album Hits Top 5

Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All is expected to land in the top five of the Billboard Hot 200 albums chart with their releaseOF Tape Vol. 2. The album is sitting alongside monster sellers like Adele's 21 and the official soundtrack to the popular motion picture The Hunger Games.

"NOT ONE SONG ON THE RADIO, NOT ONE VIDEO ON TV, BUT WE SOME HOW GOT DEBUT NUMBER 5 ON THAT BILLBOARD CHART EVERYONE CARES ABOUT. AWESOME!" Tyler, the Creator tweeted regarding the news.

The project is the Odd Future collective's first release since inking a deal with Sony in 2011.

Tyler Discusses Fashion

Tyler, the Creator is featured in this month's GQ and the Odd Future frontman discusses his affinity for urban wear with the magazine's style editor Glenn O'Brien. Specifically, both men reveal that they are fans of the Supreme brand.

“Visual aesthetic is important to me. I take video directing and designing album art and sh*t like that very serious, and they do, too,” Tyler told GQ. “So that’s one thing I like from them, the way they design certain things—not too much, not too little.”

“I’m not into fashion, but I like design. I wear the same shoes every day,” Tyler said. “These same pants. I’ve been wearing this Supreme hat for a month.”

Tyler Crashes Gucci Mane Show

Tyler, the Creator was thrown off the stage during a recent Gucci Mane performance. The Odd Future frontman jumped onstage during a Gucci show in Los Angeles last week, and the Atlanta rapper's security quickly grabbed Tyler and threw him from the stage.

Gucci was performing at the G-Shock release party for The Hundreds and Casio's collaborative watch.

The footage was just made public, but Tyler was also able to grab a photo with Gucci before being forcibly removed from the stage.

B.o.B. On Tyler 'Beef:

B.o.B. wasn't too invested in his brief 'beef' with Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All frontman Tyler, the Creator. The Grand Hustle rapper said that he isn't interested in feuding with other rappers.

Bobby Ray downplayed the Tyler situation's seriousness and the entire idea of beefs.

"He just heard me on the radio rapping about whatever the f*ck I was rapping about and was like, 'Who the f*ck is this guy?'" B.o.B said. "And it ended up in his lyrics. I didn't think it was gonna escalate. The whole beef thing is kinda lame. It's like 'F*ck this, f*ck that!' I'm not gonna walk around the earth mad at some random person. It's pointless."

Tyler, the Creator & Tony Hawk

Tyler hung out with legendary skater Tony hawk this weekend. Hawk interviewed Tyler while the two were hanging out at Australia's Big Day Out Festival. Tyler shared his enthusiasm for skateboarding, skater culture and video games.

"I did music and then I got into skateboarding because my friends did," Tyler explained. "This is like around Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 around 2002. As corny as that sounds, that's my sh*t. Then from there on, all my friends skate. Yeah. By the way, Tony Hawk Underground is in my top three games. Ever.

"Whenever people use my skateboarding, songs at their f*cking parks and sh*t, I be stoked as f*ck," he added.

Tyler Discusses His Creativity

Odd Future frontman Tyler, the Creator discussed his book of photography, Golf Wang, and explained how visuals and music are correlated facets of his career.

"I’ve been taking pictures since I was 15," he said. "I f**king just thought it would be cool to just put the photos up. All the photos in the book, like 80% of them are before, like, we were even famous, or we were even big. Most of those are old, some of them have never even been on the Internet. The photos of Earl in there, them sh*ts are old as f**k. And then part two will probably be 2011 and part three will be [the future]."

Tyler says he doesn't feel the need to choose between his many creative outlets.

"I can’t choose anymore," he stated. "When people ask whether I like making the video to a song or making a song to the video that’s in my head, I don’t know, I can’t choose between either one because they go hand-in-hand. They need each other."

He also revealed that he views the Odd Future collective as a punk band; and he would rather be compared to rockers than rappers.

"I’m in a punk band. It’s called Odd Future. But I really wanna be in a [rock] band. Rock bands are way cooler than rappers, in general," he added. "When people make end of the year lists, I wanna be near Trash Talk and The Strokes or some sh*t instead of f**king rappers that’s up-and-coming. I hate that sh*t. That sh*t sucks."

Tyler Wants To Work With Lil Wayne?

Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All frontman Tyler, the Creator admitted in a recent interview that he's eager to work with superstar Lil Wayne. Tyler says that he's slightly nervous about putting the wheels in motion to make it happen, however.

"Wayne's cool. I ran into him at my hangout back home, and he's just cool," Tyler told MTV News. "I actually have this beat that I want him on, but I was too scared to get it to Clancy to get it to them, but Wayne's cool."

"I wanted to kinda fan out and sh--," Tyler admitted, "But he gave me a speech about how happy he was that I won a VMA and that seeing my mom go crazy kinda made him feel like he won it too, because that sh-- was real as f---."

Tyler Was Star-Struck Over Justin Bieber?

Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All frontman Tyler, the Creator admitted in a recent interview that he was slightly in awe of pop sensation Justin Bieber when the two met earlier this year. He also says he's been pondering how the two could work together in the future.

"I met Justin back in February. He's a cool kid and sh*t," Tyler told MTV News. "When I got in there, he was talkin' about the 'Yonkers' video and sh*t. It was weird, because I was sitting here starstruck, like, 'Oh, f*ck, it's Bieber. He's asking me questions.' I'm like, 'Shut the f*ck up so 'I' can talk to 'you.'"

Tyler also touched on the kind of music he'd like to make for Bieber if the two collaborated

"I just want to make '90s R&B, like break beats, hard drums with pretty chords and sh*t," Tyler said. "I really want to do that. Like, I be listening to Brandy or the first three Mary J. [Blige] albums and sh-- and Faith [Evans] and Zhané and sh*t. That sh*t is awesome."

Nas Opens Up To Tyler, the Creator

Nas opened up about life on the road and recording. In a recent interview with XXL, Nas talked to guest interviewer Tyler, the Creator about happiness in the industry. The Queens rapper said that he loves what he does, but admitted that there can be some loneliness.

But he says he wouldn't change a thing.

"Dawg, I was naming my album Life Is Good because of how happy I am about how happy things have turned out," Nas answered. "Sometimes I may wake up and wish my kids were living with me. That's the only thing, you know what I mean? Our loved ones that are not around no more, like my mom. That's the only thing. But other than that, everything is great, even when I'm alone. Even when there's no one around."

Frank Ocean On Odd Future Beefs

Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All member Frank Ocean recently spoke on group leader Tyler, the Creator and his tendency to get involved with gripes with other celebrities. Despite the fact that Frank and Tyler both had words with R&B singer Chris Brown back during the summer, Frank says he's not trying to share every beef that Tyler gets himself into.

But that doesn't mean there's dissension within the crew.

"That's family. It's a crew, but it's not like a boy band where we're like this cohesive thing that moves and does everything together," Ocean said when asked about Odd Future. "We're like a crew of a bunch of different artists who create their own thing and their own wave -- I definitely won't go on the record and say that I latch on to every beef or confrontation or scuffle that Tyler gets into, maybe in the streets, but not in the matrix or the Internet. I can't keep up with that."

Tyler Is the 'West Coast Eminem?'

Game gave Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All frontman Tyler, the Creator a pretty big cosign in a recent interview. The Compton rapper compared Tyler's gift for weird, sometimes-unsettling imagery to the over-the-top macabre raps of superstar Eminem.

Tyler and Game recently collaborated on "Martians Vs. Goblins" from Game's R.E.D. Album.

"When you're on a song with Tyler you can say whatever the f*ck you want," Game said. "I always say what I want but I don't think I go as far as Tyler...I think he's like the West Coast Eminem. He don't give a f*ck. He just rhyme about whatever and it's like right out of an open book. I like him more than I like most new rappers. He don't really want anything other than just to rap."

Odd Future Joining Adult Swim

Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All are slated to star in their own live action series on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim called "Loiter Squad." The 15-minute series is described as a prank show in the vein of MTV's popular "Jackass" show from the early 2000s.

The show is being produced by Dickhouse Entertainment, which is owned by former "Jackass" star Johnny Knoxville, Jeff Tremaine and Spike Jonze.

"Loiter Squad" will air during Adult Swim hours; nightly from 9pm till 6am. .

Tyler, the Creator Blasts Bruno Mars

Tyler, the Creator still doesn't like Bruno Mars. The Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All frontman revealed that the is still bad blood--at least on his end--between he and Mars. Tyler admitted as much during an MTV Video Music Awards pre-show.

"I might kill myself," Tyler responded when asked what his reaction would be to Mars beating him in a category. Even after Mars paid tribute to late soul singer Amy Winehouse, Tyler could only give him back-handed praise. "He put on a good performance. But I still hate his f--king music," Tyler said.

It is unclear if there's any kind of personal element to Tyler's contempt for Mars--or if it's just Tyler being Tyler.

Nicki, Lady Gaga, Beyonce Wow At VMAs

The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards once again proved that this is an awards show where the awards almost-always take a backseat to shock value and surprises. On a night when pop superstar Katy Perry took home the award for Video of the Year, and Young Money sex symbol Nicki Minaj netted the Best Rap Video Award, the night will best be remembered for weird outfits and one surprising announcement.

Minaj showed up wearing one of the most elaborate outfits in recent awards show history, but even she was trumped by Lady Gaga--who spent the entire night dressed in drag, oddly-resembling Ralph Macchio's character Pony Boy from the movie The Outsiders. In another strange turn of events, Britney Spears was presented with the Vanguard Award at the ripe old age of 29. R&B star Chris Brown gave an eye-popping performance of his hit "Beautiful People," while Adele's performance of "Someone Like You" with a simple piano accompaniment was the night's classiest performance.

Fans were also treated to Tyler, the Creator's mother jubilant reaction to her son winning Best New Artist.

But much of the night's thunder was stolen by megastar Beyonce--and not just because of her stellar performance of "Love On Top."

Bey revealed that she and hubby Jay-Z are expecting their first child together, much to the surprise and delight of fans.

There were several awkward moments; including Will Ferrell, Jack Black and Seth Rogen in an unfunny Beastie Boys sketch and Katy Perry's playful-but-somewhat awkward dig at Kanye West. "Now this is a time where you want to interrupt me, Kanye," she said, referencing West's infamous bum-rushing of Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMAs.
