Celebrities come together for Alicia Keys “BUY LIFE”

Each of the celebs poses with a barcoded shirt for the new Buy Life campaign, helping Keep A Child Alive continue their many initiatives again HIV/AIDS in Africa and India. Here’s how the Buy Life project works:

When you buy life, you give life to millions of people affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India by providing the medicine, food and shelter needed to fight this awful disease. Whenever you see a “BUY LIFE” bar code, simply scan it using Stickybits or WiMO and instantly make the purchase of a lifetime. You can also purchase a fully scannable “BUY LIFE” t-shirt and invite others to buy life wherever you go. This shirt not only looks good, but every scan does the world good.

In other words, you can buy a shirt for $35, or you can scan someone else’s shirt and contribute as little as $10 at a time. Sounds pretty neat.
Check out the other celebs involved below. For more information, visit BuyLife.org.

All I'm saying,is I cant, blame people for hating on, alicia keys. Look say her and her success. I don't ever recall her saying shes tryna be a role, model. Shes human like everybody else. non of us know the circumstances to this situation. So do y'all selves a favor and stop to EVERY FUCKING THING THE MEDIA SAYS. Try being a little, open minded. Wow her personal life has nothing to do with fighting the cause of HIV/AIDS. Support the cause. Buy a shirt!

I have a question. Why is it that everyone wants to help the HIV and AIDS epidemic in other foreign countries but forget about where they rest they head at now. How about u do something for the youth with HIV and AIDS in New York, or the people in general living in poverty with HIV and AIDS. There is a growing epidemic right here in our home state of HIV and AIDS for youths 13-30 in The Bronx and in Brooklyn. Lets stop focusing so much on being good will ambassador's and actually do some good from the places YOU were born and raised

i understand what you are saying about helping the people here in new york but another thing u have to understand is India and Africa doesn't have the things we have we can easily get our lazy butts up and go to the free clinic there's an h.i.v/aids bus on every other corner out here the bronx and in brooklyn people chooooose not to go in india and africa they dont haveeee a place to go they are barelyy holding on as it is, so they need the help out there people who will appreciate things that we have out here and take for granted.
