Rumors are circulating that Bad Boy president Sean "Diddy" Combs is miffed at Jay-Z for signing New Orleans rhymer Jay Electronica to the Roc Nation label. Combs and Electronica had forged a friendship over the last few years, and Diddy had been trying tirelessly to get the rapper signed to his Bad Boy label. But Jay-Z swooped in and grabbed the emcee this past week. And Diddy is allegedly none-too-pleased with Shawn Carter about the signing.
"Damn it hurts in a whole other way when someone you felt and I mean really felt was your friend, betrays you," Diddy tweeted shortly after the Electronica signing was announced. "It hurts when [I] breathe."

I think he made the best decision for himself with going with jay z. Puffy, diddy, sean his track record with his artists is very very limited. Look back, whatever hit song they had to make them known diddys not doing anything to keep them in the light. He's not loyal to anyone in his camp since biggie. Where's craig mack, danity kane, da making the band crew! I'm from a small town in pa and I see ness here almost weekly at grocery stores, our hoods but he stills bad boy to da heart. Gotta love his drive. I admire both men, but from a career standpoint definately roc all the way. Congrats!
