Lil Wayne has taken the first step towards clearing up his tax debts. The New Orleans superstar has begun paying off a large chunk of the debt he reportedly owed the federal government. The rapper had debts going as far back as 2004.
According to reports, Wayne paid off a $1.13 million IRS tax lien. The payment included taxes from 2004, 2005 and 2007.
As previously reported. the IRS filed a $1.1 million lien on Wayne in a Dade County, Florida court last June.

An u kno that ain't fair ,but I don't care, dam I thought that nicka was a millionaire
How is it not fair? He didn't pay his taxes and now he is. I pay my taxes. So do you. So does everyone. Why should we allow someone who deliberately sets the progression of music itself to pre-historic times when Ugg and Brug were just hitting rocks together and making noise. That may as well be all he does.
Can we lock him back up now?
In response to The moron "anonymous," those are lyrics from a lil wayne song and are altered quite well...he is not saying it's not fair that lil wayne doesn't hafta pay taxes, he is using those lyrics to say he thought he was a millionaire...dumbass
its funny how tha dumb ass thinks everybody should pay taxes when it is really not legal for us to be paying it anyway.now thats unfairand secondly if u were such a histortory man ya dumb ass would know and be outraged
Wayne probably didn't know that he had debts in those years. The way taxes work are more complex than the average tax payer may think. He has enough money to pay off 1.13 million in one shot Wayne will forever be ballin as long as Nicki and Drake are still hot. Long live young money
That nicka is a millionaire but its not like he can pay it all off at one time deat nicka got car payments house payments electricity weed I meen really I smoke a lot of weed and it gets very expensive at times but I'm not gonna stop. Give the man a lil minute to pay shit off.
