Kevin "Kyze" Ravenell, the producer best known for his work with rapper N.O.R.E., passed away yesterday (October 17) following a two-year battle with cancer. He died in New York and for the last couple of years had been battling prostate cancer. He produced several tracks for N.O.R.E. aka Norega. Their collaborations stretched as far back as 1999, when Kyze produced tracks for N.O.R.E.'s album Melvin Flynt - Da Hustler. He most recently produced N.O.R.E.’s “I Understand” and “Bottles Go Bang.” |

My thoughts and prayers goes out to his family and friends, this is really sad. I really hate that happend. He will be missed by many.

Rest in peace Kyze. Your work will always be cherished and appreciated. This is really sad, I know what his family is going through. Lost a family member to pancreatic cancer and a week later my good friend passed away from the same thing. I made myself a promise to help find a cure for this dreadful disease.
