Magnolia Shorty's Husband Killed

The husband of Magnolia Shorty, the female rapper that was brutally murdered in New Orleans in December 2010, was shot and killed in Century City, Louisiana yesterday (November 17.) Police found Carl Bridgewater's body near Louisiana and Loyola Avenues.

He was already dead when paramedics arrived on the scene. There are no motives for his death--which was the 181st homicide in the city of New Orleans this year.

Shorty, who had previously been signed to Cash Money Records, was killed December 20th, 2010 when she was shot reportedly more than 18 times while sitting in a car with a male friend
