The web's been buzzing the last few days over claims that rapper Jay-Z issued a decree and a poem claiming that he would forego ever using the infamous b-word in his raps since the birth of his daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. When the rapper was approached by the New York Daily News about the story, his answer was swift and succinct. "That poem and story are fake," Jay said. The story had been debunked by several sources online, but this was the only time Jay-Z spoke on it himself. The phony article generated attention from bloggers, watchdogs and hip hop heads all over the Web. |
