Drake has filed an official response to a lawsuit filed last month by a woman claiming she was the Young Money star's ex-girlfriend and he owes her unpaid royalties for his hit "Marvin's Room." Ericka Lee has consistently claimed that Drake even sent her a text praising her work on the record. Drake now claims that no money was ever promised for Lee's appearance on the song--she's the voice of a voicemail recording in the intro--claiming that "she consented to the use of her voice in the song 'Marvin's Room' for no compensation." He also says the two were never romantically involved. |
