Nicki Minaj landed some major hip hop notables for her sophomore album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, but there was one legendary rhymer the Young Money starlet wanted to get on her project that, for whatever reason, wasn't able to come through. In a recent interview, Minaj revealed that she sought out the ever-reclusive Lauryn Hill. "You know I loved Lauryn, (she) was a goddess to me," said Minaj of Lauryn Hill. "I wanted to get her on 'Champions,' that'd have been crazy, right?" A lot of Lauryn fans may balk at the idea of an L-Boogie/Barbie collaboration, but it would've been interesting, to say the least. |
