Kanye West got a lot of attention for his explosive track "Theraflu" and its obvious references to his ex-girlfriends, not to mention their fiances and husbands. But the rapper didn't just catch the attention of fans and bloggers--it turns out PETA took exception to Yeezy flaunting his furs in the organization's face.
"Can't a young n*gga get money anymore?," Ye raps. "Tell PETA my mink is dragging on the floor/Can I have a bad b*tch without no flaws/Come to meet me without no draws?"
"What's draggin' on the floor is Kanye's reputation as a man with no empathy for animals or human beings," said PETA's Senior Vice President Dan Mathews in a statement sent to XXL. "He's a great musician but doesn't seem to have the fashion sense to design anything more than caveman costumes. We keep hoping that one day he'll find his heart and join evolved style icons--including Russell Simmons, Pink, and Natalie Portman--who have dropped animal skins."
