Former Cash Money Records star B.G., born Christopher Dorsey, was sentenced on Wednesday (July 18th) to fourteen years in prison following his pleading guilty to illegally possessing a firearm and conspiring to obstruct justice.
Judge Helen Berrigan also sentenced the rapper to three years of supervised release following his prison term.
In December, Dorsey pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm in 2009. He had three felony drug convictions from 1998 to 2003. He had previously claimed he had no idea there were guns in the vehicle at the time of his arrest.
