Rohan Marley has gotten engaged...to someone notnamed 'Lauryn Hill.'

Marley, the 39-year old son of the legendary Bob Marley, is set to marry model Isabeli Fontana, who he has been dating since October 2011. They are set to be married in Ethiopia. Marley and Hill have several children together but have never been married, and this will be Fontana's third time jumping the broom.

“Rohan told me that we must return to their origins so that the marriage will last forever,” Fontana reportedly said of the Ethiopian wedding.

Rohan dated Lauryn from 1996 to 2011, but their relationship was constantly the subject of speculation and shrouded in secrecy.

Lauryn Hill Defends Rohan Marley

Lauryn Hill has issued a statement attempting clarify the reports that her longtime on-again, off-again lover Rohan Marley abandoned her while she was pregnant. Marley isn't the father of Hill's newborn son, but she doesn't say who is nor does she say whether or not they are currently together.

"Mr. Marley and I have a long and complex history about which MANY inaccuracies have been reported since the beginning," the statement reads. "To speculate without the facts can only cause people to form WRONG conclusions. We both value privacy and for that reason defend and preserve our right to it. Contrary to the numerous reports, Mr. Marley did not abandon me while pregnant with his child. We have had long periods of separation over the years but our 5 children together remain a joy to both of us. Thank you for your concern and I appreciate all of the well wishes regarding the birth of my new son."

Lauryn Hill Had Sixth Baby?

Anonymous sources are claiming that soul singer/rapper Lauryn Hill gave birth to a baby boy this past weekend. On July 23rd, L-Boogie reportedly had her sixth child. She's kept mum on who the little one's father is, after it was revealed last month that her long-term boyfriend Rohan Marley is not the dad.

But according to an anonymous source for Black Celeb Kids, Lauryn and her newborn are healthy and resting.

"Mother and baby are fine,” says the source, who adds that Hill and family “had a little scare because the baby came out the womb with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck. All is well now and everyone is happy.”

Rohan Marley On Dating Lauryn

Rohan Marley made headlines last month when he tweeted categorically that he was not the father of singer/songwriter Lauryn Hill's unborn baby. The two have been together for years and have five children together, but many fans were surprised to learn that they were never legally married. This revelation led to some questions as to whether or not Rohan dated Lauryn while he was still legally married to his previous wife.

Marley denies that he was ever 'doubling-up' on wives.

“When I’m in a committed relationship with one woman, I’m just with that one woman!" Marley clarified. "Miss Hill and I are happy with the five kids we have together. She speaks for herself and any other questions regarding her personal life should be directed towards her."
