Ne-Yo Defends Album Title

R&B singer Ne-Yo may have confused some fans--and at least one well-known Compton rapper--by naming his upcoming albumThe R.E.D. Album so soon after rhymer Game released his ownThe R.E.D. Album, but the crooner says he didn't steal anything from the West Coast emcee.

"No ... I don't feel like I ripped off The Game's album," Ne-Yo told TMZ.

"Until The Game comes up to me and says he has a problem with it, I don't care what people think," Ne-Yo said. "Jay-Z did The Blueprint and so did KRS-One."

Ne-Yo Takes Over the Strip Club?

R&B singer Ne-Yo proved that its not just rappers that know how to get the strip club poppin'. The crooner made a scene at popular Atlanta strip club Magic City by covering the floor with dollar bills for the ladies to dance on.

Ne-Yo hit the club with his baby's mother Monyetta Shaw and put down close to $5,000 in ones.

The star reportedly stayed in the VIP section with her, but didn't touch any alcohol the entire night.

Ne-Yo Moves To Motown

R&B singer/songwriter Ne-Yo is leaving his longtime label, Def Jam, and joining Motown Records, where he has also been named senior VP of A&R. Ne-Yo will be moving his entire Compound Entertainment imprint to Motown as well, where he will mentor and produce for new talent and current Motown acts.

"I'm honored that I've been given such a prestigious title and trusted with such responsibility; terrified because I know that playing this role in the fashion of one of my career role models, Mr. Smokey Robinson -- these are big shoes to fill. But trust, I can handle it,” said Ne-Yo.

"His track record of success at Def Jam will always be a benchmark," added Universal Republic and Island Def Jam Motown chairman/CEO Barry Weiss. "But this move to Motown will provide new and inspiring challenges for Ne-Yo as both an artist and a key member of the new senior management team that is taking form at the label in 2012."

Young Jeezy celebrated his birthday with a party and dinner in Atlanta and DJ Frank Ski's restaurant. While there were numerous A-listers at the event--Jermaine Dupri, Ludacris, Ne-Yo and others all made an appearance--there was one slightly-less well-known person in attendance that got people's attention.

Jeezy reportedly showed up with a new girl, model Jasmine Sanders.

Sanders dated Chris Brown for most of last year. The relationship came to an end due to rumors of Sanders getting cozy with Rob Kardashian. Now, apparently, she's been scooped by the Snowman.

Ne-Yo's Not Engaged?

R&B singer/songwriter Ne-Yo is denying reports that he got engaged over the weekend. Reports surfaced all over the web that Ne-Yo was planning on getting hitched to his longtime girlfriend. Turns out, he is looking forward to a new bundle of joy.

But he ain't jumping the broom.

"Ok twit fam. To put all rumors to rest. Not engaged but am expecting second child. Mo has no rep. The person claiming to rep her lied.," Ne-Yo tweeted. "Thanx for the interest in my personal. Know that the day I DO decide to take that step you will hear it from the horse's mouth. Much love."

Pitbull Responds To Lindsey Lohan

Pitbull has broken his silence regarding the news that he and singer/songwriter Ne-Yo were being sued by actress Lindsey Lohan. Lohan is suing over her name being mentioned in the song "Give Me Everything."

Pitbull doesn't seem too worried about the suit, but he did note that it came as shock that the actress would sue.

"I was very surprised to me when I found out about the lawsuit,"Pitbull told Univision News. "It was very ironic." He added that "everything about this record is so positive."
