Cinescape 2011: 250 Of The Year's Movies In 1 Mashup (VIDEO)
2011: The Cinescape from Matt Shapiro on Vimeo.
We're with the crowd here that Matt Shapiro's trailer Cinescape 2011 is one of the best, if not best movie mashup we've seen this year. Shapiro has managed to slice 250 of this year's movies into a coherent single piece, making one of the weakest years for original scripts look somehow inspired. As the Atlantic points out, Shapiro's artistry comes after some considerable practice. He made trailers for 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010. The full list of movies for this year's is here -- including the only non-2011 source, which intros the piece, "Sunset Boulevard" (1950).

2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class Video
The CLS revolutionized automotive design when it debuted more than seven years ago, but with newer competition from Audi and BMW in the category, the Benz now looks kind of tired. The second-generation 2012 Mercedes CLS-Class aims to keep eyes focused on the three-pointed star, and at least on the surface, it can certainly hold its own, according to Cars.com editor Kelsey Mays. The CLS has borrowed several design cues from its SLS sibling, and there’s some interesting tech equipment, too, including a first-of-its-kind adaptive LED headlamp system. We’ll have to wait until spring to see if the CLS drives as nice as it looks.

Kanye West’s “Monster” Video Hits the Web "Ruff Draft" Ft Jay-Z, Rick Ross, & Nicki MInaj
In what looks like another epic leak, Kanye West’s video for his hit single “Monster” (ft. Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj and Bon Iver) has hit YouTube. The video is rather rough, poorly synced and seemingly unfinished, which indicates that West did not intend for the vid to hit the web today.
Note: This video is NSFW.
Fans have been anticipating the release of this epic (and gory) video for weeks now, after being given a sneak (leaked?) peek at the making-of in early December, followed by a preview soon after.
Kanye’s album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, oozed online weeks before its November 22 drop date, so it’s no small wonder that the accompanying videos would get a similar treatment — especially when the disc has been on every end-of-year-album list across the web.
Although some are speculating that this was an intentional leak (we’ve reached out to West’s camp for comment), we doubt it. The rough-cut quality of the vid — complete with time code — juxtaposed against the spectacle that was West’s 35-minute hip hop film Runaway presents too sharp a contrast. “Monster” appears to be an epic-in-the-making, even in the rough cut, so we doubt that West — who has previously been extremely vehement about leaks — would be kosher with an unfinished version making it to the web.
We’ve also reached out to one of the alleged leakers to see if we can find out where the video came from.

Fabolous - You Be Killin Em starring Amber Rose
Fabolous and Amber Rose have long denied rumors that they’re in a relationship. But Fabo recruited his 'friend' to play his love interest in his new video. Of course, they had to know being paired up romantically in the clip for Fab's single "You Be Killen Em" would raise a few eyebrows.
In the preview for the video, Rose is seen wearing lingerie in bed with Fabolous before he leans in a for a steamy kiss.

I’minfatuated with her, really blown away. A couple of months go by, and I bumpinto her again on tour overseas. We get together, and we’re inseparable forthree months. We go to New York, Miami, all the places where I get it poppin’.
Then, suddenly, we have a misunderstanding and she just breaks out on me. But absencemakes the heart grow fonder. We’re in two different parts of the world andshe’s remembering all the good times while I’m thinking if I had another chanceI wouldn’t lose her again. One night in London, I get offstage at 9:45pm and Ihear that she’s in Paris. It’s one of the foggiest nights, so I can’t take myplane, I can’t drive. The only way I can get to her is the last train toParis...
