Jay-Z & Beyonce Are the Highest Paid Couple

Jay-Z and Beyonce have once again been named the highest-paid celebrity couple, according to Forbes magazine. The Carters have an estimated annual income of $78 million, which is Beyonce's $40 million and Jay-Z's $38 million combined.
Reportedly, Beyonce makes the majority of her money from royalties from her catalog, endorsement deals and other business ventures. Jay's high-grossing tour with Kanye West and several business endeavors (including ad firms and cosmetics companies) contributed to his wealth over the last year.
Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady enter at No. 2 on the list with $72 million, while David Beckham and Victoria Beckham nab No. 3 ($54 million), Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie come at No. 4 ($45 million) and Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith round it out at No. 5 ($40 million).

Jada Pinkett-Smith Dismisses the Rumors

Jada Pinkett-Smith has had just about enough of the rumors of marital problems between her and Will Smith. The actress/singer/mom gave a brief interview where she addressed lingering speculation that all is not well in Casa De Smith.
"Every year, a celebrity couple is on the radar. This year, unluckily, it's us! I almost want to say that we should have been expecting it," she told Gala France. "But Will and I know the truth. We are waiting peacefully for when the storm ends." "These rumors are completely untrue. I'm traveling a lot because of my work, as Will does. And the fact that I'm accompanying our daughter, Willow, on her trips, while Will spends time with our son, Jaden, doesn't make things easier."
"But our way of living hasn't changed. Before the children, we were already away from each other quite often because of our work," she added. "In general, Will and I take two months of holiday, at the end of the year. Right after Thanksgiving, we shut down the curtain and nothing comes to bother our family life until January."

Will & Jada's Public PDA

Despite the fact that there have been rumors flying all over the place regarding the state of their marriage, actor/rapper Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith appeared to be okay this week when they were spotted with the family out at a Philadelphia 76ers game.
The couple looked happy and as close as they ever have.
And just for fun, when the two appeared on the Jumbotron during the game, Jada planted a huge kiss on Big Willie for the crowd to see.
That probably won't silence any rumors, though.

Marc Anthony Breaks His Silence

Marc Anthony Breaks His Silence
Marc Anthony has broken his silence on his divorce from Jennifer Lopez. Anthony also downplays rumors that his marriage ended because of an affair with Jada Pinkett Smith, wife of actor/rapper Will Smith. Marc thinks that fans are being fooled by overzealous gossip hounds.
"I'll tell you that it wasn't something sensationalistic happening," Anthony said of their split. "It was a realization on both our parts. So, you know, it wasn't shocking. These things happen. It was a decision that we made jointly...I'll always love Jennifer. She knows that ... my kids know that. Jennifer's a wonderful, wonderful woman, a wonderful mother, a wonderful friend...It is sad, because you think about the impact of all those people who believe in you. You think about your family and the possibilities, but we realized very early on that even though we're not together, our story's not over. There are things to do together; there is life to see together through Max and Emme. So it's all good, man."

Jada Pinkett Smith On Relationship

Jada Pinkett Smith On Relationships:
Jada Pinkett Smith shared some advice on how to sustain and maintain a healthy relationship. She said that her marriage to Will Smith works because they work at making sure there's always communication...and passion.
"You’ve got to make time. Our men want to feel important. We want to feel important," she says. "So it’s about establishing an environment in which that can happen. It can be hard because we get caught in the grind of life. Establish relationships with family members or friends and take turns with each other’s kids so you can make that time for yourselves."
"It doesn’t take a lot of money — wallets are tight right now — so just simple stuff," Jada added. "A night walk? Man, do I love those. Or pack a lunch and go to the park, like Will and I did. Even a drive — and then pull over on the side of the road! Think of places outside that are comfortable to have sex. Does he have access to his office? Have a fantasy date. Be his secretary! Be sneaky. Your girlfriend’s house at a party. The bathroom! A guest bedroom! Just switch it up. Anything like that can keep it going. Anything it takes to keep the flame alive."

"So he's a good partner...You know, we just have great teams and we have great partnership. It's all about partnering. And that's the thing that I've learned about being in this business. Jada Pinkett Smith On Parenthood

Jada Pinkett Smith On Parenthood:
Jada Pinkett Smith addressed the criticism of she and her husband, actor Will Smith, and the fact that their two youngest children, actor Jadan and singer Willow, have become pint-size celebrities in their own right. Jada stressed that she and Will aren't harming their kids by allowing them to pursue their dreams under the glare of the spotlight.
“There are so many other kids you can worry about," Jada told Uptown magazine. "My kids? They’re going to be all right. I get why people would criticize. But people need to know that Will and I would never put our children in a situation that would bring them detriment, my kids have no idea how I grew up, Even in knowing my story, they couldn’t know what that means. They have no RE-ALI-TY. None."
"My feeling is, my kids need to have challenges," she continued. "In a safe way. If I survived everything that I survived in Baltimore and Will survived everything he survived in Philly, these kids surely can survive the Hollywood game."
"With so many heavyweights surrounding them—from BeyoncĂ© and Jay-Z to Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith to Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony—if they can fail in a circle like that, then they weren’t going to win in the first place," she added. "All I want for Trey (Will’s oldest son from his first marriage), Jaden, and Willow is happiness."

Jada Pinkett Smith On Willow

Jada Pinkett Smith On Willow:
In a recent interview, Jada Pinkett Smith addressed the critics of she and her husband Will and their famous offspring. Pinkett says that, despite people thinking that they are 'pimping' their children, she is happy with their family and wishes that she had had the same opportunities her daughter WIllow has today.
"I was the girl hanging out with drug dealers, drinking, messing around. Whatever you think I did, I did worse," she says. "My daughter is a born rebel like me – Willow is so me it’s not true. But being a rebel isn’t a problem, as long as you have someone to guide you, and we are with our kids all the time.[...]We see it as our mission to use that energy, to help them express who they are."
"I tell her all the time that I would like to be 10 again and to go to fashion shows, to perform, act, have all these opportunities," she continued. "I’m blessed to be her guide. She has these opportunities, so why not take them? What is wrong with that?”

Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter formed a joint-venture with Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith

Will Smith, Jada Pinkett-Smith and their partners at Overbrook Entertainment have formed a joint-venture with Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter to develop and produce major motion pictures. First up? A remake of the Broadway musical “Annie,” in which Will and Jada’s daughter, Willow — who recently signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label — will star in.
Although the project is in its preliminary stages, it will be developed with Sony Pictures Entertainment and produced by Overbrook and Jay.
The partnership between Will and Jada and Jay-Z began when the three decided to invest in the beauty line Carol’s Daughter. Their next venture together was when they joined forces again to co-produce the Broadway play “Fela!” Since then, Willow, who is managed by Overbrook’s Miguel Melendez, has signed to Roc Nation and released first single “Whip My Hair.”
“The Overbrook Entertainment family and I have a unified vision. We’ve already produced a Tony Award-winning play and we’re developing a true superstar in Willow,” said Jay-Z in a statement. “This venture into film development and production is a perfect next step with teams that are accomplished, creative and innovative.”
Is there ANYTHING that these couples can’t do? It’s awesome to see black couples and their children building empires and achieving new levels of success and empowerment.
