Trey Songz - Hail Mary Ft. Young Jeezy & Lil Wayne (Official Video)

Im watching the new Trey Songz “Hail Mary” video and who do I see? Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez. All I can do is laugh, because Stevie J poses and does that face that is all over instagram, and tells the girls “I do not want to send you to the strip club … now tell Daddy you love me … and by the way, you look nice tonight”. Nice way to capitalize off Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Trey. Trey Songz new album Chapter V is in stores today.

Rick Ross Discusses Young Jeezy

Rick Ross and fellow hip hop star Young Jeezy have had well-documented differences in the past. In 2010, Jeezy criticized Ross' claims that he was affiliated with the notorious Black Mafia Family on Ross' track "B.M.F.," but it seems like their feud has cooled in recent months. Nonetheless, Ross didn't exactly embrace the idea of possibly collaborating with The Snowman.
"You know where I'm at and the position I'm in right now, I don't have no beef with nobody. I'm chasing that crown right now," he said. "Right now ain't the time for that. We staying focused. I'm always 'bout business; that's why I'm here."
"I haven't taken nothin' personal since I came in the game and I think if you in this business and plan on having longevity in this you shouldn't take nothin' personal...ain't nobody stepped on my Jordans yet, not out here," Ross added. "As far as I'm concerned, bring that money bag, let's shake the world up, that's what Double M-G is about."

DJ Drama Discusses "We In This B**ch"

DJ Drama opened up about putting together an all-star collabo featuring the biggest names in Atlanta hip hop. The new release of T.I., Ludacris, Future and Young Jeezy's "We In This B*tch" music video has generated a tremendous amount of buzz; and Drama says the track was a moment for the city.
"It's always the people that make the decision [on how good something is], but I definitely knew I had something special," Drama told SOHH, "And even the way the record came together, you know, it had no other choice but to be special. From me getting the beats from Kane [Beatz], which took about a year, to the idea of the hook coming to me and giving it to Future, with the space that he's in right now. And then me getting Tip, Jeezy and Luda on one record, what it means to Atlanta and me repping for the city and me making that vision. It definitely is a special record and I'm glad to be a part of it. It's exciting, especially for what it means to the culture."

Nas Praises Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj has her fair share of haters, but rapper Nas isn't one of them. The two have collaborated before, and Nas says that the public should give Nicki credit for being the lone female rapper holding her own currently atop the charts with all of the men.
"I mean it was crazy cause Nicki is out there doing it," Nas said in an interview. "She's like the only female doing it. You got some new ones out her doing it--Azealia Banks, Iggy Azalea--you got them. But since we don't hear much from Eve, [Lil] Kim and Foxy [Brown] these days, nobody can't front, Nicki is representing. To be on her album, that sh*t was crazy. ... She put me on ['Champions'] with Drake and [Young] Jeezy -- that's a recipe of a masterpiece. I thought it was a perfect record and I think Nicki killed that sh*t."

Jeezy Speaks On Trayvon Martin

In an interview with MTV's Sway, Young Jeezy shared his feelings on the murder of 17-year old Trayvon Martin, the teen who was gunned down by Neighborhood Watch leader named George Zimmerman. The case of the unarmed young man's killing has drawn national attention due to the fact that Zimmerman hasn't been arrested for murder despite the fact that the shooting happened on February 26th, nearly a month ago.
“I feel very deeply as a community leader and as a product of my culture,” Jeezy said. “I feel like we all got to get together and stop this, ‘cause I have a son his age and I just feel like that could've been either of our children.”
Various marches and protests have been organized around the country in the wake of the slaying.
“I’m out here trying to feed the fam, and if I heard that I wouldn’t know how to take it,” Jeezy added. “My son is a good kid. Does he do stuff? Of course, that’s what kids do. But nobody’s child should be shot in cold blood for anything…especially if they didn’t hurt or harm another individual. I feel the racial lines and the tension of it. I get it, but we’re gonna stand strong on the black and the brown side on this one. We’re gonna stand together…”

Young Jeezy Announces Project

Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy has announced that he is working on an upcoming CTE compilation, tentatively-titled It’s The World. The rapper dropped the news during an interview on Hot 93.7's Jenny Boom Boom of Hartford, Connecticut.
It’s The World, it’s basically I’m just bringing my crew to the forefront,” Jeezy explained. “It’s been a long time coming, CTE World. I’m proud to announce that. The music is incredible for one and everybody knows Gangsta Gibbs is in a great place right now as far as what he do. And I’m just bringing the rest of the crew along for the ride man. It’s gonna be a CTE World summer.”
Jeezy also spoke on the success of TM103: Hustlerz Ambition.
“It was long overdue. You know what I mean. I always was confident in the music, but you know it’s a lot of business things that go on behind the scenes and I’m a businessman so my money gotta be right,” said Jeezy. “I can’t just do anything. And when the record sales came out I was always confident, but I felt like the people that ride with me and for me they just stood up. Like ‘We rockin’ with Jeezy. Everything else cool and we get it, but we love this dude right here man.’ And they believe in me so we gonna keep pushing man.”

Jeezy Recalls Losing His Voice

Young Jeezy revealed in an interview with WPGC that part of why his music career was stalled for a few years is that he damaged his voice. Prior to releasing his TM103: Hustlerz Ambition album in late 2011, Jeezy says he lost his voice for almost a year.
“I tore my vocal cords…I had polyps on it, and I basically tore it because I was doing a lot of yelling at my shows,” Jeezy explained. “It kind of took me off my grind for like a year, because I couldn’t speak for seven months. I had surgery, and then it took another three months for me to learn how to speak again.”
“That ain’t what you wanna do in front of your homeboys when you’re trying to warm up and get your voice back,” Jeezy added. “So it was a little difficult, but I kind of thugged my way through it…and it worked out for me.”

2 Chainz Discusses Young Jeezy

Rapper 2 Chainz offered his perspective on MTV's Hottest MCs list and their omission of his fellow Atlanta native Young Jeezy. 2 Chainz told DJ Self that fans may be in the process of adjusting to Jeezy after his long hiatus and change in style.
“When Jeezy first came out, there was so much swag in his music. Now, he’s rapping. But at first, it was like his lifestyle,” he said. “The dude came from a kitchen. He’s really a d-boy. A lot of people really didn’t understand it, you couldn’t even understand the slang unless you had something to do with the trap. Unless you’re from Atlanta. We thought he was the illest n***a around for being able to explain the story on them beats like that. But everyone else took a minute.” A
“So now that he’s rapping and this is his third album, it took so long, I think people are not just taking the time to digest that joint, because it’s a well put-together project and I was surprised about it because he put out a lot of mixtapes that had good music on it as well,” he added

Young Jeezy - OJ ft. Fabolous & Jadakiss (Official Video)

Alley Boy Calls Out Young Jeezy

Young Jeezy has already been called out once in 2012 for cutting ties with notorious BMF founder "Big Meech" Flenory, who is currently serving 30 years in prison for drug trafficking. Bleu DaVinci put 'The Snowman' on blast a week ago for abandoning his former friend; and now Atlanta rapper Alley Boy is taking Jeezy to task, as well.
"I've done spoken to Meech personally on the phone and I asked him,” he told Hip-Hop Wired. “Bleu Davinci walked up on me at Club Crucial. Bleu walked up on me like, 'The big homey [Meech] said call him' and gave me a number to call him. He said, 'Call him tomorrow,' so I called the number and Meech gave me a lot of advice on what I need to be doing and said 'leave that street sh*t alone, do your music.”
“This is the first time ever talking to him a day in my life, I asked him, 'Bro I ain't trying to start anything but is dude [Young Jeezy] keeping it 100 with you?,' and Meech said 'No, it's more like 50/50.' Then he turned around and said, 'I wouldn't even say it's all that.' And to me that's some fake ass sh** because at the end of the day these are the folk that made you in Atlanta so out of all people you should be breaking your neck for this man. So that's a flaw in character."

Jeezy Shares Twitter Tragedy

Rapper Young Jeezy revealed a shocker to DJ Vlad in a recent interview. The Atlanta rap star shared that a friend of his had died over--of all things--a Twitter beef. Jeezy opened up about how serious trivial things like social networking sites can become.
"I just lost a homeboy over twitter beef so I don’t think it’s a joke, not at all. R.I.P to Kev; He was a good kid," Jeezy shared. "I lost my homeboy and I had to be in the hospital; I left the club and came to the hospital. I had to sit there with his mother and that’s why I tell you, to y’all this sh*t is questions but to me, this sh*t is real. I sat in the room with his mother and brother; the nurse walked in and said “Ma’am, I’m sorry but you lost your son to multiple gun shot wounds to the chest” and she walked out and left her to deal with that. I had to sit there with her and comfort her."
"I also attended the funeral and this was three weeks ago, so my thing is 'I get it!'" he added. "Everybody got an ego and everybody is tough but I feel like this sh*t is meant for networking. My thing is these kids got to know they can’t take this sh*t and make it a negative. They can’t be f*cking killing each other over words. I feel bad I had to sit there and bury him with his brother. It kind of hurt me because three weeks prior to that we were all hanging, smoking and having a good time."
"It’s just crazy to see what these kids are doing today over some internet sh*t," he added. "It almost made me want to not be on twitter no more and it’s probably why I haven’t just been on it because I’m like, 'Damn, what the f*ck is going on?' I understand everybody is tough these days; tough economic times make sh*t really frustrating for people but it’s one thing to have an argument in your neighborhood but when you start beefing on f*cking twitter and people start dying, that’s when you know we got a problem."
