Travis Porter Announce Release Date

Travis Porter has announced the release date for their debut album. The project, From Day 1, is expected to be released on May 29th, and for fans of the Atlanta-based trio it has been a long time coming. The group members acknowledged that fans have been patiently waiting.

“We’re excited to finally give the fans what they’ve been asking for over the past three years. From Day 1, dropping on May 29th through RCA/Porter House Music isn’t just our album, it's OUR album - meaning the fans that have rode with us," Strap explained.

“This project shows all sides of Travis Porter. The fun, the real life stories and of course, the ladies. We have big features, big production, it’s going to be a major record," added Ali. "The fans are going to love this. We about to turn up, for real.”

Prodigy & Wiz Khalifa Celebrate Urban Ink

Wiz Khalifa and Prodigy of Mobb Deep are gracing dual covers of tattoo magazine Urban Ink's 20th issue. The two rappers are well-known for their extensive body art. Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa and recently freed rapper Prodigy have landed on dual covers of Urban Ink's 20th issue.

Prodigy's spread features a comic book and horror movie theme (his tattoos focus on 'good versus evil'); while Wiz is surrounded by beautiful women and fast cars.

Sean Garrett, rap group Travis Porter and “Bad Girls Club” star Wilmarie Sena are also featured in the issue.

Rick Ross Headlining BMI Showcase

Rick Ross will be headlining BMI's 14th Annual Unsigned Urban Showcase in Atlanta next month. Travis Porter and Sean Garrett have also been named as performers at the event, with DJ Drama and Lil Duval hosting.

The showcase spotlights superstar performers and up-and-coming talent.

Four finalists from a previously-held BMI talent competition will perform for industry executives. Judges include producers The Justice League, L.O.S. da Mystro, songwriter Chef Tone, producer Kane Beatz and others.

The show takes place May 18th
