Azealia Banks may be trying to get into the Guinness Book for the most Twitter beefs in a year. The brash Harlemite has feuded with Iggy Azalea, T.I., Kreayshawn, Nicki Minaj, Lil Kim, Jim Jones and now, Funkmaster Flex. She blasted the Hot 97 personality after he 'dared' speak about her ongoing situation with Jim Jones.

Pusha T Reveals "Cruel Summer" Release Date

G.O.O.D. Music star Pusha T paid a visit to Funkmaster Flex's Hot 97 radio show yesterday (June 21st) and discussed a wide range of topics in an extended interview with hip hop's most outspoken radio personality. Pusha confirmed that another Clipse album is coming--despite his brother and rhyme partner's religious conversion. He also revealed the release date for the highly-anticipated G.O.O.D. Music compilation album Cruel Summer.

"August 7th. G.O.O.D. Music compilation coming August 7th," Pusha T confirmed.

The album is already one of the year's most talked-about, with the video for the single "Mercy" gaining major airplay and online views.

Funkmaster Flex Goes Off AGAIN

Funkmaster Flex is becoming known for raging rants as much as spinning records. The Hot 97 DJ went on a Twitter tirade--just a day after dissing Power 105's Breakfast Club on his radio show. This time, the object of Flex's rage was gossip sites. Reportedly, a website discovered a restraining order filed against Flex by his wife.

Let's just say, he didn't take the news leaking very well.

Funkmaster Flex Vs. The Breakfast Club

Hot 97 personality Funkmaster Flex didn't take too kindly to being named "Donkey of the Day" by rival radio show Power 95's Breakfast Club last week. The DJ took to the airwaves and launched a tirade against the morning show personalities.

"Yo, you're taking such a beating out here. All three of y'all are out here getting robbed," Flex boasted this weekend. "Retweet that! Man, I can't get that many records on, I'm so hyped. [plays 'How 2 Rob'] Oh, you thought I was going to play games this week? That's what you thought? That's what you thought, right? You thought people were scared of y'all? Summer Jam is going to be what turned your lights off. Three robbery victims, New York. I want you to know that you are witnessing frauds. Okay? These frauds are on the radio and Twitter talking tough but they're getting robbed, at finger point. I'm just telling you what they're saying, man."

Flex singled out Charlemagne's southern background for ridicule.

"You ain't got stamina like me, buddy," Flex added. "None of y'all. None of y'all. Now why don't you guys, Twinkle Toes, that's what I'm gonna call y'all from now on. Toes. Twinkled. Why don't you guys get jewelry and your money back? Stop getting toast to the face and stop getting robbed at finger point. ... Get Diddy's hardware out your mouth, because when he got you fired in Philly, you weren't talking tough. And then when Diddy came to your show up here, you had his [Ciroc] hardware all in your mouth. The Breakfast Club themselves seemed to laugh off Flex's rants.

DJ Envy also weighed in. "For every 10 lies you tell I have 1 truth....Stay Tuned.... (Insert evil laugh here)," he tweeted.

For his part, Charlemagne promised he would address Flex today (June 11th) on the radio show.

Nicki Minaj Calls In To Hot97 To Address Summer Jam

After pulling out of her appearance at Sunday’s Summer Jam, Nicki Minaj phoned into Funkmaster Flex on Hot 97 to address her absence. She explained what led to the decision, her reaction to Peter Rosenberg’s diss, and the lesson she learned from Lil Wayne, who made the executive decision to yank YMCMB from the lineup. She also fired back at Flex for belittling her album sales, reciting exact figures.

“When you disrespect Nicki Minaj, you’re disrespecting my fans,” said Nicki, who plans to make it up to her Barbz by playing a free show in New York City.

DJ Khaled Joins Ciroc Boyz

Hip hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs announced that DJ Khaled has been named the newest member of the Ciroc Boyz. While partying at Mansion 360 alongside Khaled and The Weeknd, Diddy shared the news on the mic to the crowd.

Khaled joins DJ Funk Master Flex as a member of the vodka brand's conglomerate. Diddy is a part owner of the brand.

“Check it out, we finally, finally negotiated a deal and closed a contract with my man DJ Khaled, he is officially now a Ciroc Boy!” Diddy exclaimed.

Wiz Khalifa Responds To Kanye

Rapper Wiz Khalifa has finally broken his silence regarding Kanye West's now-infamous reference to him and his fiancee (West's ex-girlfriend) Amber Rose. West mentioned Wiz on his track "Theraflu/So Damn Cold" and Wiz spoke on the name-drop in an interview with Funkmaster Flex.

Specifically, Flex asked Wiz if he was shocked at the mention, to which Wiz responded "Yes."

"Because he said my name," Wiz answered. "I've gone a long time without anybody actually saying my name out loud like that. It wasn't a bad thing. It was just the fact that it was my name. That's my name. it was wild, it was wild, but nothing negative. Everybody got positive from it, so it's positive."

Biggie Jacket Up For Auction

Notorious B.I.G.'s status as one of the most revered figures in hip hop remains undiminished a decade-and-a-half after his untimely death. An authentic jacket worn by the late rapper is due to be auctioned later this month in New York City. The property will be sold by Philip Weiss Auctions during a three-day sale.

A representative for Philip Weiss Auctions said that the item has already attracted “intense interest.”

The jacket has Flipmode and Funkmaster Flex logos emblazoned on the front and sleeve. The auction takes place April 19th thru the 21st and features several other pieces of celebrity memorabilia, ranging from animation art, rock & roll collectibles and stamps.

Khia Vs. Funkmaster Flex

Just when it seemed like Funkmaster Flex's war of words with fellow NYC hip hop radio star DJ Clue, the spinner is now in the middle of a feud with one-hit wonder rapper Khia. The X-rated femcee lashed out at Flex via Twitter after the Hot 97 personality posted a topless pic of the rapper on his blog. The image had been 'leaked' to the Web--allegedly by Khia herself.

"@Funkmasterflex we all know you like hairy chests and Big Long D*cks Kate and Ashley didn't turn u on But thanks for all the Full Free Promo," she tweeted.

The shot only seemed to confuse Flex. "@QueenKhia all i did was put the pics on my blog and retweet a tweet.. Why are you mad at me?," he replied.

DJ Clue Blasts Funkmaster Flex

DJ Clue and Funkmaster Flex are embroiled in a heated feud, and Clue issued a scathing response to Flex's rants about the Funkmaster's dominance on New York City hip hop radio. Responding on his own Power 105 show, Clue blasted Flex's arrogance.

"Gotta address this clown... actually, where I would come from, we call him a ho. He a ho," said Clue. "That's what hoes do. They b*tch and moan, and they make excuses for why you number two. And you number two because, basically, you're tied for the number two spot. The station you're tied with bills way more money than you do. ...So really, you came in number three, buddy!"

"Because you're spending ninety-nine percent of your day worrying about what I'm doing, you're calling labels, telling them, 'Look, I'm not gonna play you artist's record if you don't give it to me first,'" Clue continued. "'If you give it to Clue, your artist is not allowed on the station and we're gonna drop all your records.'"

"Stop calling club owners, telling them, 'I'll do parties for free.' C'mon, man, you're embarrassing yourself. You're doing parties for five hundred dollars, or you're doing them for free!" he added.

Funkmaster Flex Vs. DJ Clue

Veteran hip hop radio DJs Funkmaster Flex and DJ Clue engaged in a war of words over a new Nicki Minaj record that was allegedly due to premiere on Clue's Power 105 station. Flex raised Clue's ire by bragging about who should break the song and Clue blasted Flex on Twitter.

"So this Fat Old dude saying he hacked my email & took a record that never got emailed to me? #CompulsiveLiar," Clue tweeted. "I know one thing I'm first in ..The Ratings #1 at Nights 6-10 pm & rated higher 7-12pm Hold That!"

Flex then aired out Clue over the air.

"I get the records in this town first! ... This radio thing is NOT your arena, ok? ... People only put their faith in you 'cause they hope that you're the next Flex!... You can't keep up with me, boy! ... Fam, you got about 2 wins in 52 weeks and that's what you get hyped for? You been losing for so long that that's what you get hyped for? ... Who you mad at, me or you, man?"

"I been doin' this a long time," Flex continued. "You can't beat me at it, man. You make yourself sound stupid braggin' about two weeks out of 52. Really? That's what you got? ... My radio game is at level 20. Boy you betta go back to the drawing board 'cause you lost tonight. ... Classic loser status."

"I know he's good at what he does, man, but he ain't better at this right here," Flex added. "Now don't let me have to talk to you like this again. You clown. ... You listen to me good -- I aint hold this crown for so many years for some boxhead cornball to get a record tonight that you thought you was gonna get. Now you just shut up. OK? ... DJ Clue On Funkmaster Flex Beef

Funkmaster Flex and DJ Clue may have engaged in a war of words this week over New York hip hop radio supremacy, but it looks like at least one of him got over it fast. Clue hopped on Twitter last night (March 21st) to make it clear he's not preoccupied with Flex.

"ThingsJealousyDoes," he tweeted. "I'd rather keep my mouth shut then be a d*ck rider or a liar. I'd Rather that."

The two had a falling out over who was supposed to debut a new Nicki Minaj record.

"And for the record..I don't have "Beef" with anyone or anybody," Clue also decided to add. "Beef over Tv,Radio & Social formats is Corny.B*tch n*ggaz do that. I'm good"

Amber Rose On Funkmaster Flex

Amber Rose has no love for Hot 97 DJ Funkmaster Flex. The vixen and the DJ have had their differences in the past. mostly stemming from comments Flex has made about Rose during his radio show. But during an interview with Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg, Rose explained her distaste for the Funkmaster.

“I hate Funkmaster Flex, but I love you guys,” Rose explained. “He’s an a**hole, man. He’s just ignorant in every single way possible. Everything that he says is just rude and ignorant. When people come in to talk to him, he kisses everybody’s ass, and then when he leaves he talks about everybody.”

In 2010, Flex called Rose an “extra" before going on a tirade about her character.

“She seems like she’s not smooth, my brother,” Flex explained. “She’s on Twitter…she just seems like, a little unhappy. The movie dropped, and then she said she’s coming out with the reality show. There’s no closure to her.”

Rose still claims she wants to make peace with Flex, however. “I will give him that benefit of the doubt because people really don’t give me that,” she says.

50 Cent On Gay Rumors

Rapper 50 Cent laughed off his rival Game's insinuations about Fiddy's sexuality in a recent interview with Funkmaster Flex. Game is known for being a provocateur, and he relishes the opportunity to dig at 50 Cent any time that he can. The two have had a contentious relationship ever since Game departed 50's G-Unit label in the mid-2000s.

But 50 says Game's just desperate for attention.

"I got a word, I came up with a word for everything that you see from that guy," 50 told Funkmaster Flex. "It's desperation. [Game saying I'm in the closet?] If that's a valid question, they really need to ask the young ladies because I really don't do too much talking, even about who I'm hanging out with. Like, I don't like to talk about it. [Desperation] is when you're hurt and you gotta try to make some conversation. What song is playing right now, Flex? From his new LP? OK. Let's move on. Nicki Minaj On Her Ass-ets

Nicki Minaj knows what you're looking at. The Young Money star sat down with Funkmaster Flex on MTV and discussed the public fascination with her most booty-ful asset. Like J. Lo and Serena before her, Minaj's rump has become its own kind of celebrity.

“I don’t mind the question, I don’t mind the fascination. It’s all good,” she giggled. “I’ve said this before: it doesn’t define me, so I try my best not to focus my energy on it. Like if you guys focus energy on it, I don’t mind it. if people are sitting in a barbershop talking about my butt, it’s conversational. That’s what people are going to do. As long as they’re talking about Nicki Minaj, it’s good.”

Funkmaster Flex's Wife Files For Divorce

Hot 97 radio personality Funkmaster Flex is separating from his wife after twenty years of marriage. Monica Joseph-Taylor made the announcement public in what seems to be an unexpected official statement. No comment has been issued from Flex, born Aston Taylor, or his camp.

"After almost 18 years of friendship and marriage it is with great regret that I announce my husband Aston Taylor, also known as Funkmaster Flex, and I are separated," the statement read. "We have tremendous love and respect for each-other, and will continue to work on our professional projects together. Our top priority has and will always be our children! I personally ask that the press keep in mind Flex is the celebrity, not myself or my children, please respect our privacy!"

Charlamagne Responds To Flex

Power 105's Charlamagne tha God has fired back at Hot 97s Funkmaster Flex's subliminal disses at the rival station. Flex was angry at Power 105 after they poked fun at Flex's coworker, Hot 97s Mister Cee, and Cee's recent arrest for committing lewd acts with a male prostitute.

"Now yesterday we reported on Mister Cee being caught with a transvestite, we found out this morning via The [New York] Post and Daily News that he's been arrested twice before for loitering for the purpose of prostitution. Mister Cee is Funkmaster Flex's friend so Flex decided to stand up for Mister Cee last night," Charlamagne told morning listeners. "You sound like an old a** wrestler. 'Whatcha gonna do, when Funkmaster Flex runs wild on you!' You the big bad wolf in the city, huh? You like to huff and puff and blow houses down. Let's be clear. You can huff and puff but the only thing getting blown down is Mister Cee by transsexuals. That is the fact of the matter. Why you mad at us because your man Mister Cee likes getting it on with transsexuals?"

"I'm confused here. He got arrested for being with a transsexual last week, he got busted in October and November for loitering for the purpose of prostitution," Charlamagne continued. "Don't get mad at us, get mad at him."

"Tell him, 'Homie, I don't care if you like men, but move better. Don't get a prostitute, get a boyfriend. You're out here making yourself and the brand look crazy,'" he added. "It's OK if he's gay but give him some brotherly advice and tell him to move a little better with it...Subliminals are so 90's. But I understand because you a 1990's type of guy. That's your era."

Funkmaster Flex Defends Mister Cee

Hot 97 DJ Funkmaster Flex exploded in defense of his colleague Mister Cee following reports surfacing that Cee was arrested for engaging in a sexual act with a transgendered prostitute. Flex sent several subliminal disses to rival station Power 105 after Breakfast Club host Charlamagne tha God made some jokes about Cee's incident.

"New York City, I see everything moving and I see everybody moving," Flex said during his Monday night (April 4) show. "We don't discriminate against no one or anybody. Whatever is your preference out here New York City, we do not discriminate. Because I need to say that before I say what I'm gonna say. Understand, the rumors that you hear about my man Mister Cee are untrue. OK? Let's address that first but we do not discriminate on what anybody wants to do...Now you listen to me right now so you understand clearly. New York City, I'm gonna say something today that I ain't never said. I know over there in that building, greasy talk huh, let me explain something to you right now. I'll lose a friendship today.
