Chrissy Lampkin Confirms New Show

Former "Love & Hip Hop" cast member Chrissy Lampkin has verified that she and her soon-to-be-husband, rapper Jim Jones, will be starring in a new reality show for VH1. Chrissy says she and her fiance have yet to come up with a title, but the show is most definitely a go.
"Jimmy and I have our own show now," she revealed in an interview. "There's definitely gonna be drama. We love each other but we don't always see eye to eye. We respect each other but just like any other relationship, it gets rocky."
"I really don't know [the title yet]," she added. "I really wanted 'Me and Mrs. Jones' but Kelis and Nas already used that."

Jim Jones & Chrissy Spin-Off Show?

Rapper Jim Jones and his fiance Chrissy Lampkin could land their own spin-off reality show on VH1. The "Love & Hip Hop" stars are prepping for their wedding and their first child, so the rumor mill is buzzing that they could get their own series to spotlight their journey.
The alleged working title is “Jim and The Family Jones.”
There have been claims that Jim and Chrissy are upset with “Love & Hip-Hop” show creator, Mona Scott-Young. So they could be looking to leave "Love & Hip Hop" behind.

Olivia On Chrissy Vs. Yandy

Olivia of "Love & Hop Hop" discussed the ongoing bad blood between her castmates Yandy Smith and Chrissy Lampkin. Olivia admits that she feels stuck between two women that she has a friendship with, and sh edoesn't know if things are repairable between the two women.
You know what, I do. See, I’ve known Yandy for 8 years. From my Violator days. And we’re friends. And I’ve known Chrissy, well since we first started filming, so for 2 years now," Olivia told NecoleBitchie. "But with Chrissy it was a fast bond. We just met and clicked and I was like ‘Yeah this is easy’. So when I found out Yandy was joining the cast, I figured because they knew each other though Jim, that it would be good. ‘This should be a breeze, there should be no drama.’ I was wrong. It’s caught me off guard. I do feel completely caught in the middle."
"Coming from Chrissy’s side you can understand why she’s mad. I mean you see Yandy give her the book," Olivia continued. "But then you have to know Yandy. She really is a good person. Yandy really was trying to help. And then when we were at the showcase, and Yandy got up to dance to Mama Jones song…You have to understand Yandy has a great relationship with Mama Jones so why wouldn’t she show support and dance to her song? But then you can see why Chrissy’s mad. If you know the song is about Chrissy and you two aren’t on the best term right now, then you can see how Chrissy would take this as a diss. So it’s hard because both sides are equally right to both people."
Actually the hardest part for me has been the editing," Olivia added. "They make me seem like I’m two-faced! Perfect example, when I went to see Kimbella and Yandy. The edit made it seem like I agreed that Yandy deserved an apology. When really what I said was ‘Chrissy isn’t going to give you an apology but you really want it then ask this one last time and if you don’t get it then let it go.’ And they made it look like they said she deserved it. So after it aired, I hit Chrissy just to let her know that wasn’t how it happened and you know, she knows how it goes. But the viewers don’t."

Jim Jones' Mom On His Fiancee

Jim Jones' Mom On His Fiancee:
Jim Jones and his fiancee, Chrissy Lampkin, have been getting a lot of attention due to the surprise hit reality show "Love & Hip Hop," and Jones' mother recently appeared on The Breakfast Club radio show to answer some questions regarding her relationship with Lampkin. Lampkin has gotten some criticism for her admission that she wants Jones to take care of her and she was actually the one who proposed to him.
According to Mama Jones...well, nobody is good enough for her baby boy.
"It's an up-and-down thing," Nancy Jones explained. "If you notice, I'm the wicked b*tch. I don't like nobody that dates my son. But you know what? I do give them the benefit of the doubt. I just want to make sure that my baby is cool and good...When I say 'them' I'm talking about even going back in the future because for a moment, even when he was with his baby mama, it was a little kind of feeling there too. Kind of a jealous heart--but I want the best."

Chrissy Lampkin Loves Jim Jones

Chrissy Lampkin Loves Jim Jones
"Love & Hip Hop" star Chrissy Lampkin recently opened about why she decided to propose to rapper Jim Jones and why she doesn't care that people don't like that she's dependent on him for her lifestyle.
"I [proposed] to let him know that I love him enough and I am proud and happy enough to display that to the world," she said. "That’s what that’s about. Eventually, we will get married. Am I rushing it? No. Of course people have opinions about me asking him to marry me, but I felt it was the right thing to do. I love him enough and I wanted to share that. It’s how I felt and what I wanted. You need to know what you’re doing with your life. You need to have direction. If that thing doesn’t happen the traditional way, it still needs to happen. So why waste your time? I figured I would cut to the chase. What are we waiting for?"
"We talk about it a lot, so it’s not like it was something that wasn’t going to happen," she continues. "I felt comfortable enough to ask him. It’s not like it was something that was never talked about and I jumped out the window with it. I knew that it was something we both wanted. I didn’t mind being the first one to step up. We’ve been together almost seven years.
"He takes good care of me. I don’t care how people take it," she says. "I get flack all the time. He’s my man. What–you want him not to? I came up in a time when that’s what men did and aspire to do. What man doesn’t want to take care of his woman?"
