Freddie Gibbs Dissing Rick Ross?

Rapper Freddie Gibbs may have some choice words for hip hop superstar Rick Ross on Gibbs' upcoming mixtape. Gibbs is affiliated with Young Jeezy, who has had issues with Ross over the past year or so. Gibbs dropped hints in an interview with MTV that his "Baby Faced Killa" mixtape could feature some shots at "The Bawse."

"You’ll see on the [Baby Faced Killa] mixtape. I’ve been known not to bite my tongue. These guys blowing shots at people will definitely be dealt with accordingly," he said. "They’re not gonna say anything too crazy because they don’t want that real life s**t. "

"They just wanna rap, you know? We’re not really into that, we’re gonna let them know what it’s really about," he added. "There ain’t gonna be no freestyle battle or no bulls**t like that."

Freddie Gibbs On 2Pac Comparisons

Freddie Gibbs has built a reputation for being an outspoken rapper with controversial opinions. Some have even compared the young rhymer to the late 2Pac for his brashness, but Gibbs downplayed the similarities. He did acknowledge that he appreciates being spoken of in that vein, however.

But he's not out to irritate people for no reason.

"It's whatever ... to me that's love. I'm definitely not one to go off and offend muthaf*ckas for no reason, but I just say what I wanna say," Freddie explained. "It's all outta good fun so it's best to just be cool with me cause n*ggas don't wanna shoot that fair one. None of these muthaf*ckas gonna say a d*mn thing to me, man. It be alotta talk on Twitter and behind closed doors, though."

Freddie Gibbs Signs With Jeezy

Young Jeezy has officially signed Freddie Gibbs to Jeezy's Corporate Thugz Entertainment. Jeezy appeared at Gibbs show this weekend in Chicago, with Gibbs enthusiastically letting his hometown crowd know that he is with Jeezy and CTE.

The two parties had been rumored to be affiliated for about a month, but this was the first public acknowledgment by either of the signing. There is no current word on whether or not Gibbs' deal is through Jeezy's parent Def Jam label or not.
