Tricky Stewart Working On "The Lorax"

Christopher "Tricky" Stewart will be the executive music producer for the upcoming film Dr. Suess' The Lorax. The film is the big screen adaptation of the beloved Dr. Suess children's story. Stewart was also recently named A&R at Epic Records.
Stewart has served as executive music consultant on the Christina Aguilera-starring Burlesque.
“I'm a big kid and I have a 15-month-old daughter so I'm constantly listening to sounds at home and watching what intrigues a child mentally or visually,” he told the Hollywood Reporter. “And I love Dr. Seuss. That hat had mad swag.”

Tricky Named A&R Head At Epic

Producer/songwriter Christopher "Tricky" Stewart will be the newest head of A&R at the Epic label. The official announcement hasn't been made yet, but sources close to the label have indicated that the deal is expected to be finalized shortly.
In more label-shuffling news, ex-LaFace Records executive Mark Shimmel will also be positioned as a senior executive at Sony Music.
Stewart, a producer and longtime writing collaborator with The-Dream, has steered several major hits over the past few years, including Beyonce's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" and Rihanna's "Umbrella."
