Cassie Talks About Her Resilience

Cassie spoke to BWATT magazine about the resilience should discovered going through career--and life--ups and downs. While she gets criticized for being nothing more than Sean "Diddy" Combs' arm-candy, Cassie says that she's taken her lumps and is better off for it. She wouldn't change a thing.

"I think every moment good and/or bad has shaped me. A terrible performance, an amazing one," Cassie said. "Losing friends in my life, making new ones. I change every day and I’ve learned to take the good with the bad and make positive out of every experience. If I cared at all what people thought of me, I would just want them to say that I’m resilient."

She's reportedly working on her long-delayed sophomore album, King of Hearts.

Cassie Gains Some Street Cred?

Cassie is slowly inching her way back to music. After spending the past several years on runways and jet-setting with her 'boss' Diddy, the singer has been spotted traveling more closely to Bad Boy artists. She says that appearing in videos with the likes of French Montana have gotten her back to what she loves most.

"We were in Miami and I didn't really know--I just knew that my name was in the record so I wasn't really sure what I was gonna do when I got there, but it was fun," she told VIBE. "I've never been in a rap video like that and I was like 'Hey, this is like my street cred maybe [Laughs]."

"I'm a fan of French," she adds. "And the guys are hilarious."

Cassie has been hitting up all of the Paris Fashion Week events with her longtime 'mentor' (boyfriend?) Diddy and other notables like Alicia Keys and Kanye West. Even former Bad Boy Records rapper Shyne was seen hanging out with Diddy and Cass in the City of Love. But Cassie's outfit to a recent dinner got her a lot more attention than anything else she's done while in Paris.

the 25 year old sported a colorful jacket to the King of the Hearts dinner. She wore nothing underneath it.

Diddy & Cassie Subtweeting?

Will Diddy and Cassie ever be a 'real' couple?

The two engaged in what appeared to be some sickeningly sweet subtweeting yesterday (January 3rd) via Twitter. Diddy also gave Cassie a shout-out New Year's Eve, but neither has ever confirmed that they are or are not an item.

"I miss you!" the hip hop mogul mysteriously tweeted, with Cassie replying, "I miss you, too!"

This all despite the fact that Diddy spent New Year's Eve with his baby mama, Kim Porter and has been rumored for weeks to be dating Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz.

The web is buzzing with a story that Diddy had a certain special woman on his mind during New Year's Eve. While the Bad Boy impresario was out ringing in 2012 with baby mama Kim Porter, it seems that Sean Combs wanted to make sure another lovely lady knew she was in his thoughts.

While Diddy and Kim were hosting a NYE bash in South Beach (alongside their children), Diddy made sure to tweet his rumored boo-thang Cassie.

"@officialcas happy new year baby girl!!!!! :) 2012," Diddy tweeted.

I'm sure that made Kimmy Kim feel just great.

Cassie Discusses Her Style

Cassie has been honing her style for years. Since she's not distracted by petty things like her thriving musical career, the singer took the time to discuss her fashion sense and its influence on her younger fans.

"[My style] is cool, fun, and me," Cassie explained in a recent interview. "I love Kate Moss, style wise. I love shopping. I love to mix it up. I love Balmain, Givemchy, but then, I can go crazy at Joyrich in LA or buy ten pairs of Jordans or buy all the men’s T-shirts at Zara and cut them up. It’s all about having fun and making things your own."

"I like to keep an effortless edge to everything I do," she added. "I think the kids get that, and that inspires them to do the same."

Mary J. Blige Helps Launch Ad Campaign

Solange Knowles, Selita Ebanks and singer Cassie were named the newest Carol’s Daughter Spokesbeauties at the launch party for the new company campaign, "I AM." Spokesbeauty & Investor Mary J. Blige, brand founder Lisa Price, Chairman Steve Stoute, industry veteran Kevin Liles were all on-hand at the Sephra on 34th Street meet-in-greet in New York City.

"Solange, Selita, and Cassie were selected to represent Carol's Daughter as women with interesting perspectives of beauty. They recognize the beauty in diversity. They are all women of strong character who bring their own personality. Christina Milian Getting Freaky In Miami?

Christina Milian was hanging out in South Beach this weekend with 'unofficial' couple Diddy and Cassie. According to Bossip, the trio of celebs and their entourage entered a posh nightclub through the back entrance on their way to VIP. Diddy got a lapdance from an unnamed blonde in the VIP section of the club. The blonde then walked over to a sitting Christina Milian and placed her skirt over C-Milli's head.

Bossip states that Christina didn't brush the woman off, but rather, 'seemed very comfortable in that position and did not move for quite some time.'

Guess all of that money from The-Dream has made Christina feel a little frisky. She left the party later on that night, still rolling with Diddy and Co.
