Game Squashes Whoo Kid Beef

Game has been such a peacenik lately.
The rapper known for his numerous feuds since emerging in the early 2000s said last week that he wanted peace between battling stars Chris Brown and Drake, and now he's taken the steps to squash one of his own beefs. The Compton native reached out to G-Unit's DJ Whoo Kid in an effort to end their long-standing feud.
"Hey Whoo Kid, man, you know what it is," Game told Whoo Kid. "I'm telling you, soon as I get off the phone, it's everywhere. Eh, Ron-Ron hit me like, 'Call up the Whoo Kid,' I looked at the man, I had to put my iPhone way back and look at it. I'm like, 'Yo, this n***a just texted me like, 'Call up the Whoo Kid?' F*ck it. Whoo Kid's my dude. I ain't talked to [you] in a while. ... [G-Unit reunion?] If it's an opportunity to make some money, then it's all good. If not, you know 50 [Cent] let his ego go, that's good too but I'm all good. I'm not tripping off nobody until somebody's tripping. Then I'm going to turn it all the way up."

Young Buck Misses G-Unit?

The icy relationship between rapper Young Buck and his former mates in G-Unit may be thawing a little bit. At the very least, Buck seems to harbor less resentment against 50 Cent's crew--despite their acrimonious split several years ago.
Buck spoke about G-Unit in an interview with DJ Whoo Kid--G-Unit's affiliated DJ.
"It's been a long time since I've had any kind of conversation with [Lloyd] Banks, [Tony] Yayo, 50 [Cent], anybody really through that camp over that way," Buck told DJ Whoo Kid. "It's been even a long time since I heard your voice to even have a conversation and we having it on air, live for the people. ... At the end of the day, we've made history and I would never not consider not being a chance for us to make history again if ever given the opportunity or chance. My thing is, at the end of the day, we only get older out here in this situation, in life, in itself and the older I became, the wiser I became at the same time."

DJ Whoo Kid's Suge Knight Story

DJ Whoo Kid shared an old story that involved an altercation between his G-Unit compadres and notorious hip hop mogul Suge Knight. Whoo Kid said that the incident occurred because Knight was angry with 50 Cent for using an unreleased 2Pac verse on his song "Tha Realest Killaz."
"I got paid five G's to DJ at a club in [Los Angeles], but I didn't know that they were promoting [the event] on LA radio, so good old Suge Knight is in his car tuning in," he explained. "It was [at] the time that I leaked the 50 Cent and 2Pac song 'Tha Realest Killaz,' which was a record that Snoop Dogg couldn't clear on his album, so whoever they [originally] gave the record to, they gave it to me, so I kinda spliced it up [with a verse from 50 Cent] and made it a bigger record, 'cus it was a verse [from 2Pac] that nobody ever heard, and the fact that [Snoop] couldn't clear it, he gave it to me to leak."
"Suge Knight took it upon himself to 'find me' that day…he set it up [so] that everybody in [the club I was DJing in] was in [the 34th Street Gang]…the promoter got tricked, too," Whoo Kid continued. "The promoter gave me the five G's and once I got to the stage, of course, at the time 'In Da Club' was the biggest record, so of course the first record I played was 'In Da Club.' So as soon as I played 'In Da Club,' the whole club turned and looked at me…[then] the promoter came up to me and was like, 'We gotta get you out of here…Suge Knight's in the front. We're trying to call the cops so he don't come in, but he wants to come in'…we started running out the back, I'm jumping in the van, and then for some reason - I don't know where, but C-Lo got the dirtiest looking gun I ever seen in my life…so I'm looking up and I see the 34th Street Gang running up to us with knives, so I'm like, 'Holy sh*t, I'm about to get stabbed for some 50 sh*t!' I'm like, 'Yo, get the gun!' By the time [C-Lo] grabs it…the police come [up]…[C-Lo] throws the gun all the way to back of the van. The cops grab the 34th Street Gang, and we peel off."

Big Sean Is Crushing On Nicki Minaj?

Big Sean was discussing the recent top-secret Victoria's Secret showcase when he revealed just how big his crush on Nicki Minaj is right now.
Let's just say Sean would like to show her some affection.
"You know Nicki Minaj was there, too," Sean told DJ Whoo Kid, who then asked him what he was trying to infer by mentioning Nicki. "Nothing, I'm just saying. [laughs] She looks great, man. She looks very good. Big ups to her."
Whoo Kid then asked if he would kiss her famous derriere under the mistletoe. "Man, I would kiss it if it wasn't under a mistletoe!" Sean said with a laugh. "I would kiss it in the shower. Yeah."

Kat Stacks Wants To Change

You knew it was coming.
With infamous incarcerated supergroupie Kat Stacks' name popping up in interviews with hip hop notables like Slim Thug and DJ Whoo Kid recently, it was only a matter of time before Stacks herself spoke up. Kat Stacks tweeted some updated info to her followers this week, saying that she plans to change her ways.
"Its time to settle down, i've been running around for too long.," she tweeted. "i've seen it & done it all in my life. im tired of experiencing the world."
"i wanna be a square & live the L7 life. when i was a hustler i use to envy squares cause even though they had less money, they were happy. money cant buy happiness," she continued. "Just look at me, i got people with money & power supporting me but it cant give me freedom. when you're broke you're blessed with reality, when you're rich yo live in a fantasy world & every body/thing around you is plastic. i even had a Senator put in a word for me & the courts still didnt let me go"

Common Dismissed Chelsea Handler?

Common appeared on "Chelsea Lately" last week, so of course, there are now questions of whether or not he put the moves on host Chelsea Handler. Handler's taste for rapper's has been well-documented, but the Chicago emcee says nothing happened between the two.
It doesn't seem like he was all that interested in Ms. Chelsea.
"Nah, I ain't touch down with that. I just kept it moving, [laughs]," Common told DJ Whoo Kid. "Why, you want that? You want that? One of y'all want that 'Chelsea Lately'? I don't want that. Yeah, yeah, I gave her a little nice hug, one she felt. [laughs] Yeah."

Whoo Kid Blasts Kat Stacks

Kat Stacks' silence has been noted by several hip hop artists and fans as the supergroupie awaits what could be deportation; but one hip hop notable won't miss her. DJ Whoo Kid blasted Stacks' old shenaningans and says the game is better off without her.
"The Kat Stacks sh*t is so f*cking ignorant," DJ Whoo Kid told SOHH. "It's the most ignorant sh*t I've ever seen in my life. I regret watching her [videos] and saying on for three minutes, heairng her talk. She has to be the most ignorant person in the history of this sh*t they call hip-hop. Like, how could you be 'that' ignorant and then you bring your mother into it? Come on. I guess that's why people are watching it. I don't know. I don't need those kind narrow-minded people. I need people who are cool, fashionable, that are into good music, enjoying life and good food, who want to learn. That's what I want to attract. I don't want ignorant idiots. That sh*t's weird. At the end of the day, when people see quality stuff, that's why I'm always booked [for shows], I tour non-stop. It's because I give out quality sh*t. I really like what I'm doing and I do it for my fans."

DJ Whoo Kid Disses Rick Ross?

DJ Whoo Kid discussed the state of hip hop in a recent interview with Tim Westwood. Whoo Kid broke down the 'realism' that some fans associate with rappers, and explained that most of what they see is just entertainment as opposed to reality.
He also took a few subtle shots at a certain Miami superstar that has beefed with Whoo Kid's buddy 50 Cent over the years.
"The state of hip-hop is for the kids, dance music, snapping and occasionally gangsterism," Whoo Kid told Westwood. "But the gangsterism is not definited as reality. It's like they're in a movie. It's like Scarface part one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. Do you believe Rick Ross is a gangster from his music? Like if you see him, if you never met him, would you believe he's gangster? Like he's threatening? Uh! Uh! Uhh! Uhhh! Whattt? I'm being serious too. There's no focus in hip-hop but it's cool. The kids are happy. There's good music out there still like Jay-Z, Kanye [West] with the open doorways, not being in the box and then there's Mims. [laughs] I'm sorry, I meant to say Drake. Thank God there's Drake out there."

Dr. Dre Is Refocused?

Dr. Dre is apparently back on his late 80s/early 90s swag. The good Doctor has been working with DJ Whoo Kid, and while Kid was in London discussing his mixtape with Slim the Mobster--which features Dr. Dre--he revealed just what the Doc's state of mind is currently.
"It feels like he's on some hardcore sh*t, NWA type feel, like he's back, he's kicking it, he's calling out haters, f*ck y'all, no more Mr. Nice Guy type sh*t," Kid revealed.
But nonetheless, there is still no release date for Dre's Detoxalbum.

Chris Brown/Drake Joke Goes Too Far?

DJ Whoo Kid's radio 'joke' got a lot of attention over the weekend. The DJ appeared on Tim Westwood's show in the UK and commented that Young Money superstar Drake had been knocked out by R&B singer Chris Brown over Brown's ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
"Thank God there’s Drake out there. He had atleast 8 records on the radio that’s killing it, not to mention features, his own singles and um, him and Rihanna supposedly fooled around," Whoo Kid told Westwood. When Westwood pressed him for more info, Whoo Kid said, "I think he got elbowed by Chris Brown, too, but that never came out.”
“In the chin, in the corner left part,” Whoo Kid continued. “‘Man Down.’ Simple as that. I mean, c’mon, Tim. I’m trying to be simple here.”
After the Web exploded with the news, DJ Whoo Kid tweeted that he was goofing. "Me and @timwestwood were joking on radio — #youCantbeSERIOUS HAHA @chrisbrown did not knock out DRAKE!!!"

50 Cent On Amber Rose Pics

50 Cent On Amber Rose Pics:
50 Cent has added his two cents to the Amber Rose naked picture controversy. Despite Rose claiming that the pictures were stolen and leaked without her knowledge, 50 questions whether or not she had no idea that they would one day surface. He points to the fact that, unlike most 'leaked' nude photos--these pics weren't spontaneous or taken with a camera phone.
"At least it didn't look bad," said 50 Cent to DJ Whoo Kid. "It looked good. Let me tell you something. Things like that don't hurt, that's promotion. That's publicity. You got to look at who a person was. [If it was] someone who came in that was completely, let's say, conservative, that would be a damaging blow..."
That was a camera that took those photos, that ain't no camera phone. You gotta know, you gotta have intention to have a picture taken with your fingers in your p***y. That may be interesting for you because you've been watching her -- because you saw her with Kanye [West]. [The other celebrity leaks,] those are telephone pictures. Look, if you have your picture taken of you when you're not aware of it, that's one thing. If you're taking a picture randomly, it's spontaneous, [it's] a camera picture. Her shoes change in the picture. It's different shoes. That means you're conscious, got up, changed the shoes and did it with a camera. You thought about it. So maybe she's taking the pictures for her significant other, maybe it's Wiz Khalifa's joint."

Rappers React To Mavericks Win
The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Miami Heat to win the 2011 NBA Finals 4-2. Several rappers tweeted their reactions to the outcome of the series, which saw the 'superteam' of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh lose to the less-glamorous Mavs, led by Finals MVP Dirk Nowitzki.
"S/O to both teams 4 an amazing final. Now ..... handle all this lockout talk," Joe Budden tweeted. "Heat fans ... y'all have a great team & had a great season. Nothing to be mad at. & on 2nd thought, i won't be bashing y'all. But i called Dallas in 6 & i'm up about 8 stacks ... i'll take free $ all day long."
"ok BIRDMAN loses 2million -- I win $250 x 16 idiots = $4000 --- nice and CLEVELAND, Ohio wins the NBA finals!!!!!!!!" DJ Whoo Kid tweeted.

G-Unit Confirms "Jersey Shore" Signee

G-Unit Confirms ''Jersey Shore'' Signee
DJ Whoo Kid confirmed that "Jersey Shore" star DJ Pauly D was in fact signed by 50 Cent. Whoo Kid couldn't say, however, whether or not the reality star was the newest addition to G-Unit or the imprint's G-Note arm. But Pauly is definitely part of the G-Unit family now. And Whoo Kid said that 50 may be going for a more club-oriented sound with his label.
"I ain't get my pink slip yet," Whoo Kid joking said in an interview. "I'm not worried, man. All I do know is he does have new records that he wants to showcase and since 50 [Cent] -- especially with the Hot Rod situation -- he wants to broaden the horizon. I guess he wants to get into the club scene. I think he's G-Note. I haven't gotten the full thing yet...What's cool about 50, he'll call you and say you're fired. [laughs]"

“I heard like 22 records already,” Whoo Kid said. “He called me the other day, and said he needs 16 more songs,“ Whoo Kid says. “I’ve heard like nine definitely crazy [songs], and then he’s trying to collab with other people too. So it’s still up in the air. I’m assuming this will be the last album on Interscope. But he does a new deal every day. He’ll put it on ThisIs50.com either way, so you’ll know.”
Whoo Kid was with 50 in New Orleans on the set of the upcoming film Freelancers, to be released next year.
