Kelly Rowland & T-Pain Go Down Under

R&B star Kelly Rowland and the Auto-Tuned voice of R&B T-Pain seem to have gotten pretty close while hanging out in Australia. The two were Down Under for Supafest 2012 and got to hang out together during some down time.
Posting pics of themselves at the zoo, the buddies got to goof off while enjoying a break from the concerts--which also have featured Ice Cube, Big Sean and Chris Brown.
They've also been reportedly working on music for Kelly’s fourth studio album.

Kelly Rowland On Guest Artists:

Kelly Rowland made an appearance on "Chelsea Lately" and told host Chelsea Handler that she enjoyed collaborating with rapper Lil Wayne on her track "Motivation." She also admitted that most artists can be difficult because of outlandish demands for guest appearances.
"I saw him at a [Miami] Heat game and I told him I had a song. I went to the studio, played him the song and he got on it. Sometimes, I don’t know if you guys know, but artists will be a little bit difficult when it comes to getting on songs. You go through that Hollywood stuff," Rowland said. "I don’t like that and he just did it.
"They’ll demand a whole bunch of stuff," Rowland continued. "They’ll want half of the writers’ credit and you’re like ‘I ain’t giving you my writers’ credit or anything else.” So you just want to tell them to chill and get on the song. If it’s a great song be apart of it."

Kelly Rowland Serenades Dwyane Wade

Miami Heat superstar guard Dwyane Wade turned 30 this weekend and his girlfriend, actress Gabrielle Union, had R&B singer Kelly Rowland serenade her boo thang during a birthday ceremony that included T.I., Common, Usher and Rick Ross.
"Thank you everybody for coming to my honey’s 30th! Thank God he’s 30," Union said to the crowd. "I was almost starting to sound like a pervert but because my honey is all about the love of chocolate there’s no badder b*tch on the planet who represents the chocolate better than Miss Kelly Rowland. If you needed a little motivation to get your ass back in the gym in 2012 Kelly Rowland and her tight ass abs are here for a little treat."
Lebron James was also on -hand to celebrate his teammates birthday as Ms. Kelly sang a song for the star and his star-studded cadre of friends.

Michelle Williams Gushes Over Blue Ivy

Since Beyonce's had her daughter, all of her associates have chimed in about the super-baby; from her longtime BFF Kelly Rowland to her sister Solange to Gwyneth Paltrow. But no one heard much from the third member of Destiny's Child.
Michelle Williams finally gave her two cents briefly at a major event this week.
“She is absolutely gorgeous. We were all in love,” Williams, 31, told USA Today at Saturday’s BET Honors in Washington, D.C.
Quotes from Kelly Rowland popped up immediately after Blue Ivy Carter was born. It seems like the world forgot to even acknowledge Williams was a close friend of Beyonce's, too. SMH.

Kelly Rowland Disses Matthew Knowles?

In a new interview with JET magazine, Kelly Rowland revealed that she's looking forward to reuniting with her biological father for the first time in twenty years. While Rowland expressed some concern over the meeting, she also acknowledged that her BFF Beyonce and Bey's family helped fill the void that her absentee dad created.
"I think every little girl wants to be a darling in her father’s eyes, and I’m going to get the opportunity to meet my biological father, so we’ll see what happens," she said. "That’s all I can say because I’m going to meet someone I haven’t seen in more than 20 years. In my heart I have forgiven him."
When asked if Matthew Knowles, Beyonce's Pop and former manager for both Bey and Kelly, helped her as a 'father-figure,' her answer was pointed.
"Well, I am so thankful I was able to have my mom and Tina (Knowles), as well as wonderful women in my life," she said, noticeably omitting Matthew's name. "So I’m happy about that."
He was not arrested.

Kelly Rowland Is Bossy?

Kelly Rowland seems like a sweetheart, but a being a superstar singer can lead to relationship problems. Namely, Ms. Rowland says that she can be a control freak. Kelly says that her 'bossiness' has gotten on some of her significant others' nerves and is a good indicator of why she's not with anybody.
"The desire to be in control and decide everything myself as much as possible gets in the way," Rowland says. "The fact that I can act a little bossy has ruined quite a few dates. I choose the restaurant, I open the door myself, sometimes I’ll even pay the bill. I really have to learn to let a man be a gentleman. That’s probably one of the reasons why I’m single. I get in the way of myself when it comes to men."

Kelly Rowland Supports Kim Kardashian

Kelly Rowland empathizes with newly-divorced Kim Kardashian. While the world lined up to mock Kimmy K and her abrupt divorce from NBA player Kris Humphries, Rowland says she can relate to what the reality star is going through. Rowland almost married NFL star Roy Williams several years ago and says now that she's glad she didn't go through with what would've been a bad decision.
“I wanted that wedding. I wanted to be married," Rowland says. “You can just make wrong decisions in life. That was all part of growing up. I just think it’s important to trust your gut. I did a lot of soul-searching afterwards, and I want to be married, so dating is part of that process.”

Kelly Rowland On Jealousy

Kelly Rowland shared her experiences with haters in a recent interview. The R&B diva says that women always have to be aware of cattiness and that so much more could be accomplished with sisterhood instead of petty jealousy.
"I think you always experience it as a woman, but you kill it with kindness. I hate it," she says. "It’s just pathetic. As women, we have to realize what we bring to the table. What do you want to do for the world? How do you want to change it? And when you know that, you don’t have to compare yourself to anybody else. The world would be boring as hell if everybody looked alike, dressed alike, with the same body type."
Looks like Kelly still has some of that girl power from her Destiny's Child days.

“I’m so happy for my sister and her husband. They’re so happy in this moment right now, as they should be. They’ve made a little bundle of love, I’m so excited for them," Rowland told Glamour. “I have no idea what I’m going to buy Beyonce at the baby shower because Jay is going to buy that little girl every single thing possible. She won’t be spoiled but she will be very well looked-after."
“I’ll be on hand for babysitting duties and I’m actually very good with messy diapers!” Kelly added.

Kelly Rowland opened up about her issues with her darker complexion as a youngster. Rowland came to fame as a member of R&B group Destiny's Child when she was still a teen, and she says that she was still wrestling with her skin color issues as an adolescent.
“There’s so much peer pressure growing up, I had an identity crisis. I went to a predominantly white school and I was the only black girl," says Rowland. "I can remember thinking: ‘I don’t want to be as dark as I am – I want to be a little fairer.’ I didn’t want to be me."
She says that Tina Knowles, mother of her superstar DC bandmate Beyonce, helped give her confidence in herself.
"Tina sat me in front of the mirror and said: ‘Girl, look at how pretty you are,'" says Kelly. "She made me feel comfortable in my own skin."

Kelly Rowland Loves Lil Wayne

Kelly Rowland Loves Lil Wayne
Singer Kelly Rowland is the latest celeb to sing the praises of rap star Lil Wayne. Following kudos from Jennifer Lopez and Gwyneth Paltrow, Ms. Kelly is also a huge fan of the Cash Money/Young Money superstar.
"He's just an artist that loves music," said Rowland. "You can tell that just by how genius he is on his records. When I loved this record ["Motivation"], I was hoping he would love the record. And you can tell that it vibed with him or it connected with him in some sort of way for him to do what he did on this record because when I got it back -- I literally was at a loss for words."
