Nicki Minaj Addresses Lil Kim Rumors

Nicki Minaj is still sharing her side of the story regarding her Hot 97 Summer Jam cancellation. Now, the Young Money superstar is addressing rumors that she planned to stage a mock Lil Kim funeral at the show. Kim tweeted about Minaj planning to bring veteran femcee (and former Kim rival) Foxy Brown onstage and accused Nicki of copying a similar performance recently where Kim brought out Eve and Missy.
"I reached out to her a few months ago […] [Foxy Brown] has always been a part of my line up and I’ve known I was doing summer Jam for maybe a year now, so people are very crazy to think that this is something that I just decided to do," Nicki told The Breakfast Club. "I’ve just always really loved her. I’ve always made it known how much I loved her and Lauryn Hill, and so when she found out about the drama, I thought she was going to be disappointed but instead she called me and was like ‘Yo Nick, I am riding with you, we are all here and were not leaving this hotel, we support your decision”, and that was how we all went out. Everyone came out to dinner with me that night and everyone supported the decision. Everyone was like. ‘Yo, Wayne was completely right and we made the right move.’"
Nicki wouldn't even let DJ Envy ask her about the mock funeral rumors.
"I don’t even want you to finish that sentence because that’s not in my character and that’s ridiculous," Nicki stated. "Lets stop with all the rumors that are giving people false hope that they are relevant please. I’m not about to bring death on my stage, my stage is about life and love and that’s it, PERIOD. It was about us bigging up each other, myself and Foxy. No one, who is irrelevant was going to be made relevant on my stage."

Foxy Brown's Brother Gets Two Years

Foxy Brown's Brother Gets Two Years
Foxy Brown's brother/manager Gavin Marchand pleaded guilty to credit card fraud yesterday (August 18) and will spend at least 2 1/2 years in jail. Marchand pleaded guilty to two counts of identity theft in the first degree after being apprehended following his use of a fake MasterCard and American Express card in Manhattan on August 7th, 2010.
Marchand and his associates tried to purchase $7,882 from the upscale Hermes boutique in Manhattan. They attempted to flee the scene after officers saw what was happening--leading the cops on a chase through Manhattan before finally being arrested.
Marchand will reportedly turn himself in on September 28th and begin his sentence.

Foxy Brown Cruise Incident Explained

Foxy Brown Cruise Incident Explained
More details have leaked regarding the saga of Foxy Brown and the Tom Joyner Cruise. Foxy was reportedly kicked off of the cruise ship for outlandish behavior--which has been something of a trademark for Brown over the past few months (years.)
According to TMZ, Foxy set up a nail appointment on the cruise ship a day after the cruise took off but showed up three hours late. When the salon workers didn't accommodate her, Foxy lost it. Security removed her from the salon and sent her back to her room, and she remained there under supervision for almost two days. The ship then dropped anchor somewhere in the Cayman Islands, Foxy was kicked off, taken to a plane and flown home.
Why does it always seem to come back to nail salons with Foxy?

Foxy Brown Kicked Off Cruise

Foxy Brown Kicked Off Cruise
Foxy Brown's string of bizarre incidents seem to have continued. According to popular syndicated radio host Tom Joyner, the troubled rap star was removed from his Tom Joyner Cruise. According to Joyner and his co-host, Sybil, Foxy was taken off of the ship and taken to a plane.
"We put Foxy off the cruise. Let's just say she got put off," Joyner said on his morning show. "You had to really act a fool to get put off."
According to the hosts, prior to being kicked Foxy had also been "sent to her cabin" and "locked in...but that wasn't enough." They offered no further details on the incident.

Foxy Brown vs. Tom Joyner?!?

Foxy Brown vs. Tom Joyner?!?
Foxy Brown apparently thinks the entire world is just out to get her.
Once again, the former Ms. Ill Na Na was involved in an embarrassing incident, and once again, Foxy is denying that it ever took place. She took to Twitter to shoot down claims from popular radio host Tom Joyner that she misbehaved on his cruise and was subsequently kicked off.
"OKAY NOW MR. JOYNER, your old enough to be my grandfather which is why I let your distasteful comments in our interview go.... without putting you in your place," Foxy tweeted. "Obviously, u equated my silence with weakness. My maturation with passivity. Grandpa you need to learn some respect, I'm the wrong one to romp wit you will get checked!!"
Tough-talking on Twitter is sooooooo 2009. But anyway--Foxy ranted on...
"Lying a**!" Foxy added. "It was absolutely nothing but LUV from my arrival to the day I left. Hugs from Monie Love and kisses from Dougie Fresh.... I tore the stage down! That's the thanks I get?? U wait til' I leave the ship and then 2 days later your on the air saying negative sh*t!"

Foxy Brown Gives Lil Kim Free Advice

Foxy Brown Gives Lil Kim Free Advice
Despite reports of an embarrassingly drunk Foxy Brown being kicked out of a fashion party in New York City last week, the femcee was coherent enough to recently share her thoughts (again) on the one-sided Nicki Minaj/Lil Kim beef. Foxy seems to conveniently forget that she recently recorded a Lil Kim diss track that got no attention, instead now opting to play the role of mature adult.
"Had [Kim] let the people say, 'Oh [Nicki], you're trying to be Kim, you're a fake Kim,' then it doesn't come directly from her," Foxy explained in an interview with Billboard. "But when you're using that as a platform to bring your new album out, that's like, 'Oh my God, wait a minute.' I don't condone it at all; I don't think it's cute. Nicki clearly drew from both Kim and me. And she hasn't been disrespectful to me in any way -- I haven't heard her be disrespectful toward anybody else but Kim."
"And at some point, it's like, 'O.K., Kim, you've had a problem with Foxy, you've had a problem with Nicki, you've had a problem with Faith [Evans], with Charli [Baltimore], with everybody,'" Foxy continued. "It's like, enough already. I choose to stay out of it. Put out great music, and that's that."
