Shyne Calls Out Game For His "Boo"

Shyne and Game. Game and Shyne.
The two rappers have been sparring via Twitter for what seems like ages now. Why? Because Shyne said he didn't like Kendrick Lamar's album. Not Game's--Kendrick Lamar's. That bit of info is important, because in his latest series of disses, Shyne questioned Game's loyalty to his fellow Compton rhymer.
"@thegame are u gay? Get off my time line wit all that gay talk. #judas the homo thug!," Shyne tweeted. "@thegame Now I get it...the Lamar kid is your girl that's why u was on that captain save hooker. U had defend your boo! Coward"
"@thegame don't bring no security or police with u on that European tour. #hooker" he added.

Shyne Planning Return To U.S.

Rapper Shyne has spent the better part of two years living as an Orthodox Jew in Israel, but the former Bad Boy rapper is expected to make his return to the United States soon. He's been in Israel finishing his parole, and now that that time is done, he's ready to come home.
"We're working on it. It's been three years, so I finished my parole," he explained. "The ban from America starts from three to 10 [years], so now it's time to start making those applications."
"And also, I do a lot of work for my country," he continued. "So I feel that's important for the administration, homeland security and state department to respect that. I'm a young kid that made a mistake and I turned my life around, I shouldn't suffer for the rest of my life. America is an important part of my life."
"It's an important way for me to help my country, and more importantly Shyne Po still ring bells on every block," Shyne says. "The kids are listening to me, man. So if anyone is going to tell them to put the guns down, or to go to Harvard and try to educate themselves and try to stay from out of prison, they're going to listen to me. So I feel once we put our presentation together and present it to the powers that be, I don't see it being a problem."

Shyne Recalls Reconciling With Diddy

Shyne and Diddy smoothed-out their long-standing differences earlier this year, in their first meeting in over a decade. Shyne infamously went to prison following the 1999 New Year's Eve nightclub shooting that also involved Diddy and his then-girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez. Shyne says that the two spoke as men--and that the past and the business end of their relationship never came up.
"Nah, that was a man moment. When men get together, it's not about no music, it's not about none of that," he said. "Men sit down and talk about men things. Music didn't come up. I haven't seen the dude in probably 12 years, and 10 of those years were in prison. We had so much to talk about other than music. But you never know. I feel life is about forward movement, and when you're holding on to things, you really can't move. And I try to keep it pushing. That's what that meeting was about. Nobody's perfect and if a man talks to you as a man and as a brother and says to you, "listen, I did this, I did that," and really man up, what could you do?"

Shyne Praises Diddy Reconciliation

Shyne discussed his recent reconciliation with Diddy in an interview with XXL. The animosity had bee long-standing, stemming from Shyne's role in the infamous 2000 New Year's Eve shooting that involved Diddy and then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez. Shyne would spend a little under a decade in prison, but now he says there is no more bad blood between he and the Bad Boy mogul.
“You can’t overstate the cultural significance of what Shyne and Diddy reconciling means,” wrote Shyne. “You know I’m about it when it comes to them hammers, thus unfortunately this could have ended like Tupac and B.I.G. But what if Tupac and B.I.G ended like this and reconciled?"
“Let’s celebrate this moment as a historical event and a victory for hip-hop and Afro and Latin American men trained to exterminate each other,” he continued. “It’s a new day! L’chaim!!!”
"On a scale of what this says to African and Latin American men, who have been trained to self hate and to self-destruct, this is a watershed moment,” he wrote. “The paradigm shift that’s taking place as the way Afro and Latin American men deal with each other is tremendous. This could be a gigantic step in putting an end to the cycle of hate and violence that is self-genocidal and destroying the minority community by sending fathers off to jail or an early grave.”

Cassie's Racy Dinner Jacket

Cassie has been hitting up all of the Paris Fashion Week events with her longtime 'mentor' (boyfriend?) Diddy and other notables like Alicia Keys and Kanye West. Even former Bad Boy Records rapper Shyne was seen hanging out with Diddy and Cass in the City of Love. But Cassie's outfit to a recent dinner got her a lot more attention than anything else she's done while in Paris.
the 25 year old sported a colorful jacket to the King of the Hearts dinner. She wore nothing underneath it.
"King of Hearts. Paris. Dinner ;) Xx" she tweeted.
Sexy look, no?

Shyne Reconciles With Diddy

Former Bad Boy rapper Shyne has made his peace with Sean “Diddy” Combs. The two have reportedly reconciled after an extended phone call. Shyne served nine years in prison following a 1999 New Year's Eve club shooting that involved Diddy and his then-girlfriend, pop star Jennifer Lopez. Shyne says all bitterness has passed.
“As far as Puff is concerned, that's been a long time coming," he said. "He had reached out to me twice while I was in the pen, but I just wasn't ready for it."
"I felt how I felt, I said what I said. In retrospect, when you looked at the way he handled it, he held it down, he wore it," he said. "He ain't had nothing to say; always had good things to say. It was always, 'Yo, whatever Shyne need, we got him.'”

Shyne Dismisses His Old Sound?

Former Bad Boy rapper Shyne has been living in Israel as an orthodox Jew since his release from prison in 2010. Shyne explained just how differently he viewed himself, and the hip hop image that he came from, since his religious conversion.
He's completed two unreleased albums, Gangland and Messiah, which he describes as 'totally philosophical and sophisticated.'
"No misogyny. None of that deranged stuff I used to be into," he says.
"I don't even want to be a rapper,"he adds. "I don't listen to that music. I'm a musician. I'd rather be like Bob Marley or Leonard Cohen, one of those guys."

Shyne Dropped From Def Jam?

Rapper Shyne was outspoken in his disapproval of former Def Jam president L.A. Reid, but it looks like he's followed Reid out the door. According to producer Ken Lewis, the rapper who is currently living in Israel as an Orthodox Jew has been dropped from Def Jam.
"Well, I mixed 18 songs for the upcoming album and produced two, but he got dropped from Def Jam [Records], and I haven't heard from him since," Lewis said in an interview. "That may not be common knowledge. [Laughs] That might get me in trouble. His release date was splattered as May 17 all over the world, but the day came and went, and I never heard from Shyne again. I don't really know what happened to him, I just know that as far as I'm concerned, I'm not a part of that record anymore."
No official word from Shyne or Def Jam regarding the rapper's current situation.
