The Game Apologizes To 50 Cent, "I Did A Lot Of Dumb Things"

In a recent MTV News interview, Game recalled Michael Jackson's futile attempts to end the feud between himself and then-rival 50 Cent, saying that Jackson wished to collaborate with the duo, but the effort never came to fruition.

Nevertheless, Game has felt the need to issue an apology to not only 50 and crew, but the entire Interscope staff.

"For 50, I'm just gonna apologize to him, as a man," Game says. “It has nothing to do with music, or beef, or nothing like that. It ain't about being the bigger man. He can take it and say, 'Game is apologizing,' ‘Game's a sucka, he's apologizing.' I'm apologizing for me to him, to Dre, to Jimmy Iovine, to Eminem, to all the fans. Because if you think about what Interscope was when we were gellin', man we were it. We were an unstoppable force."

Game explained that while participating as an active G-Unit member, he felt the need to act on some certain issues to advance his own career. "Jimmy always says, 'Man, I told you guys not to break up the Beatles,' " Game said. "He says he told John Lennon the same thing a long time ago. But I was young, man. I was dumb. I did a lot of dumb things. I felt me and 50 clashed. I'm not gonna diss 50. I'm not gonna go back on the plane. He had his side, I had my side. I did what I felt was necessary for me and my career to have longevity and survive in hip-hop and music to be around when I'm Quincy Jones' age — not just be Quincy Jones' age, but be a Quincy Jones."

"Now, four albums in, I can honestly say from Banks to Buck to Dre to Yayo to whoever, if it would have kept going, endless paper. Millions of albums sold — because we were great together. Me and 50's chemistry was like how Method Man was to Redman when they get in. You know when Method Man gets with Redman, it's going down."

Game went on to express his undeniable chemistry with Curtis Jackson.

"It is what KRS-One was with Scott La Rock," Game explains. "When you take Ralph Tresvant from New Edition and Bobby Brown goes this way, you might get a Bell Biv DeVoe, but you won't get no 'Candy Girl.' You won't get no 'Mr. Telephone Man.' You ain't gonna get no 'Hate It or Love It,' you won't get 'How We Do.' As a family, we had it. If we never [broke] up, I think Detox would have been out and we all would have been selling millions from Banks to Buck, Tony Yayo. I'm gonna apologize for my role."

Jay-Z Addresses Controversy On Blue Print 3 Intro (Shots Fired)

In recent years, New York rapper Jay-Z isn't known to dive head first into the controversy that surrounds him.

From former partners Dame Dash and Jaz-O taking shots at him to Jim Jones and other Dipset members throwing jabs his way, the Marcy Projects MC has quietly dismissed them all.

However, in what's believed to be the intro to his forthcoming lp, Blue Print 3, Jay fires back at most of his foes.

I ain't talking about profit, I'm talking about pain/

I'm talking about despair, I'm talking about shame/

I ain't talking about gossip, I ain't talking about Game/

I ain't talking about Jimmy, I ain't talking bout Dame/

In just a couple of bars, Jay even addressed Jaz-O, who has been involved in a one-sided beef with the Hip Hop mogul for some time now.

Tryna rewrite history, lets talk about facts/

Dame made millions, even Jaz made some scraps/

He coulda made more but he ain't sign his contracts/

And for the street guys, we was dealing crack/

That's how the game goes, I don't owe nobody Jack/

Father em, want me to sit them on my lap/

But I don't have a beard, Santa Clause ain't black/

You can listen to a live recording of the intro here. http://www.defsounds.com/articles/Jay_z_blueprint_3_intro_live

Jay-Z's Blue Print 3 will be hitting stores on September 11th, 2009.
