Nike Basketball - LeBron James 2009 World Tour | Air Max LeBron VII Artist Series

Right on the heel of Kobe’s Asia Tour, the NBA Regular Season Most Valuable Player, LeBron James, will set forth next month with his own 2009 World Tour. Scheduled across 3 continents in the span of 2 months, James’s World Tour will usher in a new focus on the often neglected neighborhood basketball programs, along with the benefits such as empowering youths and community services. The tour will see the introduction of Nike Air Max LeBron VII, the newest addition to James’ signature footwear series, plus an exclusive Artist Series, collaboration designs created with each region’s local artists that will debut during each leg of the world tour.

The tour will coincide with the premiere of More Than a Game, a new documentary film by Lionsgate which follow LeBron James’ humble roots from Akron’s Saint Vincent-St. Mary High School, through an unbelievable life journey with 4 of his teammates, to the present day. The LeBron James 2009 World Tour will kick off in Chicago on Tuesday, August 11th, then followed by 9 other cities in Asia and Europe before returning to the U.S.
