I feel like companies are beginning to become more and more unprofessional to reach out to all audiences, including the unsophisticated groups of people in the world. But if this is the case, then what does that say about the people who are attracted to the add?

Is this a real ad?! WOOOWWWW!!! It is kinda funny but at the same token come on, I hafta agree w/annonymous on this too. What does my big butt have to do w/selling sneakers? I love my butt, however I'm not showing it on some advertisement to attract females w/low self-esteem (that's what they think anyway) and men who love booties (that's more of the demographic that they'll reach)!!

One thing to remember is though Nike's major product is shoes, it's not the only thing they sell. They do sell alot of athletic clothing as well. and of course they're trying to get that demographic. The fit women who jog and go to the gym regularly already have Nike athletic wear. And men who are athletic (and even some who aren't) already have and continue to go for athletic wear. So who do they feel they need to ADVERTISE to next> exactly.
this ad is has a classic point. be comfortable with who you are. rather your big or skinny. it shouldnt matter what others or society is right. as long as you are comfortable then be you.

I agree with anonymous at 112. i am one of those girls that has a big ass but i am also in shape and no matter what i do it doesnt get smaller. i am latina and its my body style.
nike is about being comfortable in your skin. obviously they are a company and they are out to make money. why wouldnt they advertise for the average woman. not like clothing companies who consider a size 5 "plus size".
be real. the average woman is not a size 5 even.
and if you actually research the history of nike you will see the kind of integrity this company has.
also, fyi, this is not the first ad they have done like this. they also did one for girly women who like to wear pink bras and it basically sent the same message. get over it.

Honestly I feel that this is pretty unproffessional. I can understand how people are okay with this by saying, it's an ad for those who are comfortable with their body. However, to say that "it's a great source of income, a comfy pillow, and a place to rest your drink," was way way too much.
I love this ad....It shows that Nike can step outside the box and all the political correctness and do something different.

The ad is ok. the only thing that is unsettling for is the fact they advertise this way and the younger generations (especially) young girls are going to see it and feel if they dnt look like that or have a "big" butt then society won't except them.
People are way too uptight...there is nothing wrong with this ad...it is funny and different and clever, I like it...as someone with a big butt...its so refreshing compared to unrealistic ad's with skinny women and big boobs.
This ad is great. For once, Women of color or females in general who work out and have a butt bigger than a regular runway model or magazine girl, can feel good aboiut ourselves. We dont have to feel as though we are fat or overweight because we have muscle in all the right places. This ad shows you can be healthy and thick at the same time.
These aren't real Nike ads. But the 2nd one is a model name Angelica "Curves" Casanas. Someone just used a pic from one of her photoshoots
first of all this is a fake add. if you think that first one is nice ? your a dumb ass, she's a fat bitch that never works out, get real. the second one may be a model, but she's pretty large herself. nike wouldn't put these fatties in their commercials. stupid ass fucks
This ad describes me and MANY women around me, it's beautiful and tough! It goes a lot further than an ass! I'm a female barber and deal with men on a daily basis. Everyone has a different idea on what is big/small, good/bad. Beauty and perception is in the eye of the beholder! If your not intelligent enough to see all aspects of this ad and think outside the box, then you really shouldnt take the time to comment!

I have heard too much skinny bashing and curvy women bashing. It goes both ways. There's more to women than physique, but doing what you enjoy, and being healthy is important. I've met several women who don't take up soccer, or other sports cuz they think they will look bad with bigger thighs. Or something stupid like that, but why? We should be healthy, and your shape, however healthy, is different for everyone. Big/small, curvy/straight, be healthy and active, I know too many women concerned over how they look compared to others rather than embracing whatever they have and taking care of it. Here's to the men that appreciate that! If big booty is your thing, then great. There's men (and women) out there who care about your personality, and your physique, w/e that happens to be. (Let's face it women and men both still want to feel good about themselves physically)
