Queen Latifah Inducted
Queen Latifah was inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame this past weekend. The rapper/actress/singer was among 13 notables enshrined, including John Travolta, Bruce Willis, singer Tony Bennett, lifestyle guru Martha Stewart and former N.Y Jets owner Leon Hess.
The hall honors natives of the Garden State that have left an indelible mark on entertainment, sports and business. You must have lived in New Jersey for at least five years to be eligible.
Bruce Springsteen, Thomas Edison and Jack Nicholson are among those that have been inducted previously. “One thing I learned in New Jersey — how to be fearless. I’m from Newark, I told you,” Latifiah said on the red carpet in Newark.
