Introducing Ameenah Ali + Her 1st Single Red Bottoms FT Lou Williams

Ameenah Ali

“At age 3, I woke up out of my sleep belting out Tomorrow from the classic movie Annie, That’s when my mother knew I would be a singer”.
Knowing your calling before most children learn how to spell their first name is a gift, that the talented Ameenah Ali has never taken for granted. Born Jan 18, 1992 as the youngest of 6 children standing out in a home full of beauty and illuminating personalities was no easy task. However Ameenah’s star quality would not be denied, and by age 5 this emerging superstar was enrolled in the L&L Dance Company and here is where she discovered her love for the stage. “Bright lights” and the excitement of the audience helped Ameenah develop the many facets of her artistry and for the next seven years she was groomed in styles ranging from classical ballet to hip-hop.

Such as other Philadelphia musical royalty Ameenah Ali graduated from the Philadelphia Public School system which is where she also was afforded her first opportunity to sing in front of a large audience. “I was in 6th grade myself and friends Shannon and Sharnae sung "angel" by Amanda Perez, everyone said we were fighting over the microphone”. This experience, lead Ms. Al i to an inevitable solo career, in which she is able to embody the qualities of the artists whom have inspired her passion. “I want to go into the pop/ rock & up beat R&B sound. I hope to be a great performer like Michael Jackson and Beyonce they are my biggest idols! I strive for swag like Aaliyah and choreography like Janet.”
Currently enrolled in Philadelphia Community College, Ameenah is juggling life as a co-ed and the hard work and dedication of an emerging pop star. Under the management of Clarence Williams, Ameenah’s career has been taking flight, receiving advice and musical direction from seasoned producers such as  Dre & Vidal whom have produced hits for Usher and Ameenah’s idol  Michael Jackson, as well as  Carvin Hagins  the man behind the song “Love” that was made a hit by Musiq Soulchild.

Ameenah is currently perfecting her craft with intense schedules that include vocal coaching and choreography from some of the industry’s leading professionals. Balancing this grueling schedule with a full time roster and late hours in the studio, would be intense for a seasoned artist however the pressure has proven to be motivation which Ameenah demonstrates in her first hit single “Red Bottoms” written by Kevin “Voice” Dukes the lead-off single for Ameenah Ali highly anticipated debut album.
Stay Tuned as Ameenah Ali captivates and inspires a generation of young energetic music enthusiast with fresh sounds that will translate from bathroom mirrors to dance floors from coast to coast.
