Rappers sure know how to overstate praise. Young Money superstar Drake is gushing over Rick Ross upcoming God Forgives, I Don't album--even placing it among some of the most beloved rap albums of the 1990s. Every rapper claims their upcoming album is a classic, but for Drake to actually name-drop the best LPs in the genre's history may be a bit much.
Or maybe Ricky Rozay's album is that good.
"This guy right here," Drake said motioning to Ross at Lil Wayne's album release party Sunday, "That God Forgives I Don't; the only way I can describe it is like Doggystyle orReady to Die or Clipse Lord Willin' or any of the albums that I collected and held on to as a kid -- whether it was cassette or CD."
