Eminem's 2010 Chrysler 200 Super Bowl ad was awarded with a Creative Arts Emmy last week. Those involved with the newly-iconic ad were shocked by the honor. Aaron Allen is a creative director from Wieden + Kennedy, which is the Portland and New York based ad agency that produced the commercial.
"We were very surprised," Allen said. "We really wanted to win but wondered if humor would win instead."
The ad featured Eminem driving a Chrysler through his hometown of Detroit while his 2002 hit "Lose Yourself" plays and the city's legacy is discussed by a narrator.
