Futuristic Nikes designed to resemble the ones worn by Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly in Back To the Future II were sold to British rapper--for $37,500. Tempah says it was just something he did in the moment. "It was a total spur of the moment decision," says the rapper. "I was really touched in the moment by the presentation and next thing I knew I owned these iconic sneakers." Tinie is reportedly a devout fan of both Back to the Future and sneaker-collecting. The proceeds from the shoe auction will go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. |
