Diddy Taking Over ATL

Sean “Diddy” Combs will host an exclusive party in Atlanta to help kick off the BET Hip-Hop Awards weekend. The mogul is taking over the nightclub Reign in Atlanta for what looks to be a lavish weekend. His longtime associate Jakob York is helping to promote the event.

"Diddy unlike most new artists, still believes in entertaining people," Jacob York told AllHipHop. "He cracks the mic, he engages the crowd and he brings the energy of the party to another level."

"Everybody with a check book thinks they can book an artist and that makes them a promoter," Jacob York explained. "They don't care about the quality of party music or the satisfaction of the customers and it's made people not want party as much. But those of us who do try to maintain quality find ourselves having to do more or give more to customers."
