50 Cent Says He's Sober

In an interview with Piers Morgan, 50 Cent spoke in detail about his disdain for drugs. He revealed that his familial background with addiction and abuse made him leery of developing a drug habit, although his history as a drug dealer is well-documented.

The rapper discussed his abstinence from drugs and alcohol in the interview.

“I got a chance to watch a lot of my mother's sisters and brothers at different periods experiment with the use of drugs or alcohol and I see them respond so differently that I stay away,” he explained. "I've had an experience that made me paranoid because of it and I stayed away from it following that."
