Jay-Z and Rocawear have made their stance on the ongoing Occupy Wall Street protests by releasing the 'Occupy All Streets' T-shirt. Jay-Z was seen backstage at his and Kanye West's "Watch the Throne" show at Madison Square Garden.
Rocawear insists that the shirt is more of a philosophical stance than an endorsement or alignment with any particular movement, however.
"The 'Occupy All Streets' T shirt was created in support of the 'Occupy Wall Street' movement," said a Rocawear spokesman in a statement. "Rocawear strongly encourages all forms of constructive expression, whether it be artistic, political or social. 'Occupy All Streets' is our way of reminding people that there is change to be made everywhere, not just on Wall Street. At this time we have not made an official commitment to monetarily support the movement."

There has been no decision to monetarily support Occupy movement at this time. Ok, no shirts will be purchased by Occupiers.
No, just an official commitment to MAKE MONEY OFF OF THE OCCUPY MOVEMENT. I find it very ... ha, ironic, that Jay-Z, the richest rapper out there, has the balls to act like he's in alignment with the Occupy Wall Street Movement. No, not ironic. Sickening actually. Because he is trying to capitalize on a movement that is screaming out against capitalism. He is acting as a friend when indeed he is nothing but a foe. He's Mr. Sandman. He wants to bring us another dream. Too bad so many of us are wide awake. DON'T BUY THESE SHIRTS.
you do know by even making he put people to work thus is not being hypocritical plus by putting on that shirt he brought awareness to of the movement plus coxey was wealthy yet still for the working men why can't jay b also if he support this he could get more workers what they want and make a profit basically answering everyone problem lastly this shirt is ok i won't buy cuz its not my style just saying your reason is wrong plain and simple. Also, because he is wealthy he isn't for the people when his career is based off of how much people like him. ace from noses wrote this
J could wear the shirt to bring awareness to the movement but don't profit from it. People are losing their jobs everyday and can barely take care of themselves and family. I feel that money should be donated to the needy
his album cover and tees that he wears at the wtt concerts are concepts by givenchy designer ricardo tisci and then has the nerve to turn around and sport this tee and try to make $ off of this tee nonetheless? what a bird, excuse me... camel.

Where were these shirts manufactured?
So your saying attaining wealth is bad? lol You people are something else. You must not know what the Occupy movement is even about.

Until monetary support is provided for the movement, no shirts will be purchased. We need to know the motivation behind this publicity stunt.
