Kanye West and Jay-Z reportedly received a huge payday to perform at a high-profile birthday party in Dubai. As superduo "The Throne," the hip hop superstars were asked to take the stage for billionaire Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour's 16 year old sister's birthday party before Christmas. It is being reported that Jay and Kanye took home slightly under $3 million each for the gig. Stars ranging from 50 Cent to Nelly Furtado have been paid massive sums of money to perform in the Middle East before, but Jay and Kanye's payday for a one-time gig was an eye-opener. The duo recently wrapped their highly-successful "Watch the Throne" tour. |
