Details have emerged in the murder of rapper Slim Dunkin. Dunkin was a member of Gucci Mane's Brick Squad 1019 camp, and he was shot and killed outside an Atlanta studio last week.
According to reports, Slim was preparing to go to a music video and photo shoot with Gucci, when he became embroiled in an altercation with someone else at the studio. During the dispute, Slim, born Mario Hamilton , was shot in the chest and died.
"It appears the victim was scheduled to do a photo shoot," said Police Maj. Keith Meadows. "Before the video shoot took place, it appears the victim and suspect got involved in a verbal altercation. We don't know what that altercation was about. The suspect produced a weapon, discharged that handgun one time, striking the victim in the chest."
Anywhere between thirteen and twenty people were present in the building when the shooting took place. Authorities have yet to identify the shooter.
