Not everyone was happy with Chris Brown's re-emergence at the Grammys this week. Brown took home awards and performed twice, but many thought it was in poor taste to welcome Breezy back to music's biggest stage three years after his infamous arrest for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna--which occurred on Grammy weekend 2009. Brown took to Twitter to respond to anyone who still has a problem with him. “Strange how we pick and choose who to hate!" Brown tweeted. "Let me ask u this. Our society is full of rappers (which I listen to) who have sold drugs (poisoning). But yet we glorify them and imitate everything they do. Then right before the worlds eyes a man shows how he can make a Big mistake and Learn from it, but still has to deal with day to day hatred!" "You guys love to hate!!!" he continued. "But guess what??? HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That’s the ultimate F–K OFF! Guess its time to release the video SOON!!!!! Get off tha nigga back! DAMN! He ain't the first and damn sure ain't gonna b tha last nigga to put they hands on a female! There are so many artist that have done it and still u b f that that's still my nigga! he made a huge mistake and hopefully he learned his lesson.
